Hi, my name is Payton! I am 22 years old and am from Alberta, Canada. I have lived in Belfast for 1 year now and after working in different areas of Healthcare for the last few years I have decided to step back into childcare! I am a very musical and artistic person and enjoy crafts, learning new instruments, and being outdoors. I have a younger brother that is 7 years younger than myself that has given me experience with children from a young age. I have previously worked as a housecleaner as well and am always more than happy to help out around the houses I'm working in if needed!
My Experience
I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. I have experience working with children between 1-12 years old. For over a year I worked with a family taking care of their two daughters before I went to school everyday. This meant preparing the childrens breakfast, getting them dressed, playing games, and on weekends taking them for walks and other activities. I've also worked for a family taking care of twins from when they were 6 months old. I've always had young children around and pride myself on being able to create a connection with the children so the child and family feels at ease. I have also worked in healthcare settings in recent years which has provided me with First Aid training. I consider myself to be a highly empathetic and hard working person, I really enjoy working with children and creating a connection with the families I work for.
