Hi! I’m Niamh (pronounced Neev). I am a 28 year old female from Ireland and I moved to London in early September. I have lots of experience in childcare settings along with childcare qualifications. My hobbies and interests include, cooking & baking, music & singing and staying active. I also love animals of all kinds! I am a very creative individual with a keen interest in child psychology & development, especially in the 0 to 3 years age range.
My Experience
I have been a babysitter/Nanny since I was 13 years old. I acted as a nanny for my neighbours kids during summer school holidays and would also babysit every weekend for some pocket money. I went on to study early childhood care and education and received a distinction QQI level 5 major award in 2017. I also went on to achieve 3 minor QQI level 6 awards part time while I was working in childcare. These were in Supervision in early childhood care, Special needs assisting & early childhood care & education. I have worked in Creche’s, preschools, and nannying and during this time have worked with kids of all abilities, including those with additional needs. I have ample experience with all age groups and was a room leader in a toddler room for 1.5 years.
My Qualifications
QQI level 5 major award in early childhood care and healthcare.
QQI level 6 minor awards in Special needs assisting, Supervision in early childhood care and Early childhood care & education.
