Hi, I'm Paula! I'm a 28-year-old postgraduate law student from Germany with over 10 years of experience in childcare alongside my studies. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children in various settings, including for a German travel agency specializing in family vacations, where I designed and provided childcare services in hotels across Europe. In this role, I was responsible for groups of up to 10 children between the ages of 3 and 13.
I love spending time outdoors with kids, cooking, baking, and doing creative activities together. That said, I completely understand when children have had a busy day at kindergarten or school and just want some quiet time to play on their own. During those moments, I'm happy to prepare meals or help around the house.
I’m fluent in both English and German (I also speak a little French and Spanish, but in this case, your kids might be the ones teaching me!).
My Experience
I’ve also worked as a nanny in New Zealand, caring for a 3-year-old, and I regularly babysit children between 1.5 and 8 years old in Berlin. I have experience with all aspects of childcare, including changing diapers, giving bottles, and managing daily routines. I am comfortable caring for up to 3 children, ages 1.5 to 13, and am open to supervising larger groups for events like birthday parties, which I would also be happy to help plan.
