About Me
I am Victoria Allison I provide person centred care and am friendly and fun loving. I am also a Christian and love to sing and read. I also have a small dog called Gadget. I emphasize doing activities with children rather than them being on computer related devices. I also support parents in the way they wish to bring up their child eg with grounding and thinking step. I have DBS checks from previous employment and am qualified in health and social care and childcare. Please note I do not have access to a car and I do not drive. I am also type 1 diabetic but I do not let this interfere with the service i provide. I use insulin as and when required and have sugary snacks if my sugar drops.
My Experience
I have experience of assisting at a mother's and toddlers group, work experience in a lower school, have worked in a nursery and have looked after both children and adults with learning disabilities and difficulties. I have also had experience in the care sector which was where my last employment was hence I have experience of assisting with personal care, providing meals and giving medication if required. I also have experience of accessing the community. I can also clean and do simple house tasks like laundry if required.
My Qualifications
Childcare level 3 and Health and Social Care level 3. Stoma and urostomy bag trained. Currently undergoing training for peg feeding
My Availability
Available for most mornings apart from Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and afternoons apart from Tuesday and Thursday. After school apart from Tuesday and Thursday and evenings apart from Thursday. Please note I am not available before school or overnight.
