Hi, I have been childminding for over 10 years now and still loving every minute. I am registered with the Care Inspectorate and I am a member of the Scottish Childminding Association. I have 3 of my own children, my son is 13, my daughter is 11 and youngest son is 7. I live in Inverkip and love getting out and about with the kids, we love going down the beach, to the park, forest walks etc and on rainy days we love to visit the local library and museums aswell as doing rainy day crafts such as play doh, arts and crafts etc.
I am a partner provider with Inverclyde council and offer blended care for 3 and 4 year olds.
My Experience
I am loving childminding, having 3 of my own children has given me the experience i needed and for the 10 years I have been childminding I am learning all the time. I also keep up to date with all the relevant courses which are really enjoyable to do. I have recently completed my SVQ3 Level 7 Social Services (Children and Young People).
My Qualifications
I have first aid training.
Training in child protection.
Training in positive behaviour management.
Training in Food Hygiene
Training in GIRFEC
Training is child development.
