I’m Carla, I live with my husband Gethin.
We are expecting our little one in February 2025.
I’m a nurse and my husband is a self-employed teacher, we are hoping very much that I will be able to take 9 months maternity but this might be reduced to six, finances dependent.
This will mean that we will need childcare from 6 months potentially and also flexible support due to the nature of our jobs, we are hoping a childminder might be able to support this better than a nursery, but we are just exploring this at the moment.
