My Summary

My Experience

I spent two months working in America as a summer camp counsellor. I worked with children from all ages between 5-15, my bunk was specifically full of 10-11 girls and I loved all of them. I also attended army cadets from being 13, and from being around 15 to 18, my main role was teaching and training the new younger recruits. I was also responsible for one to one sessions with some cadets who required more assistance than others. I have worked with children with additional need in both environments, such as autism, adhd and anger issues and therefore have a good understanding and sense of empathy for children struggling with these disorders. I am also first aid trained and have experience with paediatric first aid from my time in America. I also took numerous childcare and child safeguarding courses on camp which have helped better prepare me for numerous situations.

My Qualifications

I obtained pretty good grades in high school, I came out with a 9 in both English language and literature, a 7 in maths, and a 7/6 in science. I studied a level psychology, law and criminology in college in which I came out with two Bs and one C. I am currently studying my honours degree psychology with counselling with the open university.

My Availability

I currently have a part time weekend job from Friday to Sunday, my shifts are mostly in the morning up until around 5pm however I cannot guarantee evening availability on weekends due to my unreliable shift patterns. My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

I am open to discussing fees as I completely understand and can empathise with the parents out there who may be struggling with their finances. I hold no judgement over parents who are having a tough financial time and would be more than happy to come to agreements in order to help.
