About Me
We are a small family of three: myself, my partner Jim, and our baby Jackson. As I prepare to return to work in January, the thought of leaving Jackson with someone else is becoming increasingly daunting!
As a family, we value learning through play, fostering independence where appropriate, and promoting good manners and kindness.
We have applied for a nursery placement, but we believe that Jackson would thrive better in a nurturing, home-from-home environment where he can feel more secure, loved and learn through play.
Jim works in Greenhithe, and I work in Thamesmead, so Jim will handle the drop-offs while I will manage the pick-ups.
We are looking for a childminder placement in Greenhithe, Swanscombe, Ebbsfleet, Northfleet, Gravesend and surrounding areas between DA12 and DA9.
My Requirements
Starting in January, we will be eligible for 15 hours of funded childcare for our 9-month-old, Jackson, and are looking for a placement that provides care three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) from 7:30 AM to 5:30/6:00 PM. On Thursdays, I will care for Jackson myself, and on Fridays, his Nan will look after him.
Jackson has followed an age-appropriate nap schedule since he was 3 months old, taking both contact naps and naps in his cot. When he turns 9 months, we plan to transition him from two naps to one.
Jackson typically has breakfast around 8/9 AM, lunch at varying times, and dinner at 5:45/6:00 PM. We would greatly appreciate finding a childminder who can accommodate this routine, even if it means we provide his meals.
