I am an aspiring Midwife and I have successfully received a place at the University of Leeds for 2025.
My Experience
I successfully secured a week's work experience in a primary school, gaining valuable insights into creating a supportive and nurturing environment. I feel I am able to provide a similar environment for families and children so babysitting will be natural for me. I have also volunteered at a newborn and toddler group. My mature, caring, and supportive approach and my ability to act on my own initiative earned parents' trust, allowing me to supervise their newborns and give them time for themselves. vt
My Qualifications
Alongside part time work at a Mcdonald’s delivery kitchen , I am achieving AAA at Sacred Heart Sixth Form. I am a mature individual with basic first aid training due to my completion of the Duke of Edinburgh award and I also took part in a Dementias friend training session. Additionally, I have regularly cared for both children and newborns due to my year of regular voluntary work at a toddler and newborn group. I am an aspiring midwife so this practical work can provide a valuable insight into caring for newborns.

I am generally available from any time after 4:30 on weekdays and available all day on weekends.
