Hello, my name is Amy Im 20 years old. I am currently studying Psychology at Northumbria University and in my second year. I love caring for children and find it a really rewarding job. I enjoy being around babies and children and love to do activities with them.
My Experience
I have previously had childcare roles after school and during school holidays for 2 separate families. My role was to supervise the children, always ensure their safety, and be responsible for them. I cooked appropriate meals for the children. I supervised them to do activities and take them to the park, soft play, and the beach. During this role I learnt a great deal of responsibility and patience. In addition for the past 2 years I have worked at a community centre where I helped facilitate the youth group. This was a local activity where children would come we would engage with them through various games and tasks. Also I have a 7 year old brother who has sever autism and ADHD so I have 1st hand experience which I think has made me a better childcare provider.
My Qualifications
I have a full clear DBS background check. I am first aid trained.
My Availability
I have an additional part time job at a cinemas where I usually work a couple of days and attend University 12-3 Thursday.
