My Requirements

We are looking for a kind and active nanny to help care for our 3 children whilst our nanny is on mat leave. Our family home is situated on a working farm, so the nanny must be comfortable to be around animals and must love outdoors! This role will be temporary until September but potentially there is opportunity to take on additional hours and school holiday work beyond this. Nanny duties would include preparing breakfast, getting the children ready for school, school drop off / pick up for the older children and cooking nutritious meals for them. The nanny would organise activities for the younger child during the day, also help with the children's laundry and keep the children's play areas / bedrooms clean and tidy. The main focus will be on caring for the children but in addition, it would be a lovely bonus to have a nanny who is a confident cook and is willing to cook supper for the whole family (although this is not a requirement). Our cheeky 7 year old son has severe developmental verbal dyspraxia and is SEN. This means that he can only make some speech sounds and has no true words, he communicates through signing (BSL) and is learning to use Grid for IPad as an AAC. The ideal candidate for this role is kind natured, patient (giving the 7 year old boy time to be able to express himself) and has a genuine love for children.
