About Me
I am a final-year medical student from Australia, studying with the hopes of becoming a GP or paediatrician. I will be in Reading for a month starting in mid-February and would be very happy to offer some casual babysitting.
I consider myself to be kind, caring and empathetic and someone who can be trusted and is responsible. In addition, I love creating fun, exciting games to play with kids. I love music and sport and can play piano and percussion, and enjoy playing netball, volleyball, cross country, and dancing. I also love French the language and would be keen to practice.
My Experience
I have babysat for children aged 3-11, up to 5 kids at once. I have 6 years of tutoring experience for several kids from ages 13-17 and if desired, would be more than happy to help with homework etc when babysitting. I have worked as a support worker offering child-minding and community access for children with special needs.
I love working with children and previously worked at Build-a-Bear, an interactive children's store. I worked in the job for 2 years and ran many offsite events which involved the care and entertainment of 20+ children. In addition, I ran birthday parties for children at Build-a-Bear and have plenty of experience interacting with children of all ages. I have volunteered on several Edmund Rice Camps which are week long and run for vulnerable children of all ages. I have immensely enjoyed working on these programs and have built up many strategies to keep kids engaged and happy.

My Qualifications
I have a working with children check, CPR, and first aid qualifications.
I've attained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and almost a Doctor of Medicine.
My Availability
I will have placement during the day but can help out with evenings and potentially after school too.
