About Me
I am a, too early retired, former teaching assistant with too much time on my hands.
I am happily married and have two grown up children. I also have hree grandchildren, all of whom are in full-time school. I am articulate, quick to learn, and have a good sense of humour.
I like children and, although it is a cliche, truly believe they all deserve love, attention and the best each person in their lives can give. There is nothing more worthwhile and fulfilling than raising a child to be the best he or she can be and my greatest joy has been to see my children become fully rounded, independent adults, who have surpassed me in every possible way.
I think my children and grandchildren would describe me as good fun, occasionally a little crazy, loving but strict, I have very definite boundaries. Mary Poppins I am not (can't sing) but I rather like her approach: firm but fair, and a bit of fun thrown in for good measure.
I am a Christian , so willing to work an odd Sunday, but not every Sunday.
My Experience
I have raised my own children and have been very much involved with my grandchildren, babysitting weekly since they were babies now age 12,11,11)
I formerly worked as a teaching assistant in both primary and comprehensive schools.
I have an HND in Humanities and a current DBS certificate.
My Qualifications
O levels in English, Literature, History, Maths, Psychology.
A level in English.
HND in European Humanities.
My Availability
I am available in the evening, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and during the day on Monday and Friday
