About Me
My name is Remona Gwayi, and I’m 20 years old. I am the oldest of 3; I have 2 (younger) brothers.
I’m studying Law with Criminal Justice at Birmingham City University and I’m currently in my 3rd and final year. I’m still deciding whether to work in family law or work in compliance & risk.
I love working with children. My past experiences with children are: I would babysit children from church, family, and parent’s friends. I’m also a junior councillor for my youth club and held this position for 5 years.
I guide and mentor children and youths, and organise community events and camp trips. I teach them basic life skills, drill and march skills.
My Experience
I have extensive childcare experience, including babysitting two girls aged 5 and 8. I helped with homework, reading practice, meal preparation, and light cleaning. I managed bedtime and morning routines, ensuring they were settled and ready for the day. I also provided creative entertainment and games to keep them engaged and happy.
My role required patience, organization, and attentiveness to their needs while creating a safe and nurturing environment.

A-levels- Psychology grade C and BTEC Double Health and Social Care grade Distinction Star, Distinction (D*,D)
Currently a 3rd Year University Student studying Law with Criminal Justice LLB
