About Me

Hi, we are Katie & Tom. We have 2 little boys- George who is 7 and Henry who is almost 4. We both work full time through the week and have childcare via nursery and school club. However, we need some childcare for a couple of weekends a month on either a Friday or Saturday evening for a few hours, with possibly one overnight stay every couple of months once the boys are familiar and comfortable with you.

George needs someone with SEN experience- he can be very hyperactive and sensitive, sometimes becomes unsettled late evening and will pop downstairs to chat (he can chat a LOT lol) or get a drink. Sometimes may have wet accidents but not often and will usually change his own pants. George also has a medical bag with inhalers, antihistamine and AAI pens in. George is allergic to eggs, all nuts and sesame. We don’t leave foods out that are unsafe but would always leave the boys safe usual foods out for you.

Henry will take time to get used to us being away, he likes a lot of cuddles and may sometimes be unsettled at night and need a quick cuddle and resettling. Henry is a sensitive boy and needs reassurance. The boys are lovely, polite, loving and very funny. We require someone with an up to date DBS, first aid training and allergy awareness or experience/ correct use of AAI’s is a bonus, but if you are willing to undertake further training for this (which we would source for you) then this would be fine.
