About Me
We are a family with a happy, bubbly and fridndly eighteen year old daughter, who has non-verbal autism and a learning disability. She does not display physically challenging behaviour.
Experience with special needs and also with young children would be helpful for this role.
We are looking for someone to work five or six shifts a month (30 hours total) made up of some weeknights at home and some weekend afternoons/evenings. We are very flexible and arrange shifts a month in advance.
At home you would be giving her a bath, a snack and her night-time medication. She is toilet trained/continent.
Weekend outings involve taking her for lunch (meals provided on outings) and out on bus or in car (expenses paid if you are a driver) to cinema, attractions.
Epilepsy, allergy, asthma awareness is a bonus but training can be provided. (Her epilepsy is currently controlled).
Hourly rate is negotiable. Contract also includes 5.6 weeks p.a holiday pay
The job would really suit someone looking for regular reliable work.
If interested please contact me to arrange a chat.
