My Experience
I have gained practical childcare experience through multiple nursery placements and volunteer work. My experience includes working closely with speech therapists, both privately and through schools and nurseries, to support my child’s language development. This has given me a strong understanding of speech and communication strategies, and I have also assisted friends and family with children who have speech delays or disabilities.
I hold a DBS check and have basic knowledge of hygiene, allergies, and first aid. Since I have not yet completed full first aid training, I prefer working alongside parents and carers, ensuring children receive proper care and attention while parents manage other responsibilities.
