About Me

Within my diverse journey of working in childcare positions, I have felt a sense of pride in being relied upon and knowing that what I do has real impact, helping foster children’s development and creating spaces where they feel valued and understood. I first began childcare through care of family members and have also used my bilingual skills and badminton coaching experience to support children’s development in creative and meaningful ways. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and want to carry on doing in my life. My skills working with people have constantly been well-tuned, working in customer-facing positions, such as in a busy central London pub and restaurants, during breaks in my studies.
After spending a semester abroad studying Family Law in France, I am enthusiastic to work in a role for the next 9 months and beyond, that aligns with my long-term aspirations in family-focused fields, where I can continue to learn and make a positive impact on children’s lives. In September, alongside working, I will be taking two Family Law modules, as well as completing my dissertation titled "Equal but Not Identical: The Intersection of Fathers’ Rights and Gendered Parenting Norms in Law”. I’m passionate about working in areas around social work and family mediation, using my legal education to make a positive difference in families and communities.
