About Me
I am 20 years old and coming to the end of my university course so am looking for a job in relation to childcare. I’ve worked with children for the past 5 years and after choosing to do health and social care at college and university I decided to make a career change into childcare. I will have a Bachelor’s of Arts Honours Degree in Integrated Health, Social Care and Wellbeing by the end of this academic year! I love working with children and being a part of their development. Seeing a child’s unique personality start to grow is one of my favourite things about working with children. I am also a huge animal lover!
My Experience
I have worked as a play worker in a breakfast club/after school club setting, with children from 3 to 11 years old, since I was 16 years old. I have been there for 5 years now and have enjoyed every minute. I prepare snacks, such as toast and cereal, and encourage, participate, and observe play. I love working in such a fast paced environment with so many unique children, (with around 30 children attending an after school club session!) Being in a position to be a part of watching a child develop and become their own person is something I have come to treasure deeply. I am also available to work weekends and school holidays!
Unfortunately, I am not a registered childminder and am just looking to babysit out of personal interest in the childcare sector. I do have years of experience working with children 3-11 years as stated above and am DBS checked.
My Qualifications

My Availability
I have commitments until 9am on Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday mornings
and commitments after 2pm on Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Friday
I am available from early in the morning to late at night over the weekend.
