About Me
My name is Jess and I am a mum to 2 children, a girl aged 3 and a boy aged 8 months old. I have recently moved to the area and am excited to use my childcare experience to welcome children into my own home. I am very outdoorsy and love getting out of the house every day whether this is a trip to the park, woods or just taking my daughter out on her scooter. I love trying out new toddler groups and attending rhyme time at the library. I read to my children all the time and we love learning new things through stories. We love getting creative with paints and other craft materials as well as getting messy jumping in muddy puddles. Waterproofs and spare clothes will be a must at Wootkids.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare for 15 years, starting at 14 when I was a volunteer at Brownies. I then worked at Kumon Maths and English centre as a tutor/ marker. From this I went onto complete my swimming teaching qualifications and taught children from 2-15 years old. My passion for teaching grew and I went to university to study Primary Education. During the holidays I worked at a children's activity club as the Early Years Manager and I also worked as an Elf at a Christmas Grotto. Once I finished my degree I went onto teach Reception and Year 1 for 3 years until I decided to move into nannying ahead of starting my own family. When I was nannying I looked after children from 9 months to 7 years.

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday before and after school 7-9am and 3-6pm.
I am available for under 5's all day on a Monday and I am open to discussing additional days in addition to this.
