So when it came to choosing a childminder it's a big deal for every parent because you have them at home with you and then you go back to work so you want someone to look after your child as best as you can because let's face it, looking after children and being a parent isn't easy! Also this is my first child so it was a big deal to leave him with someone you don't know very well at the start so I found Kathryn and went round to see her and she was very welcoming and I instantly knew she would be perfect to look after my little one and looked no further.
As a full time parent you don't get to see your child's accomplishments over the years but with Kathryn she keeps a daily diary and photos of their achievements which is lovely to see. She does creative and fun learning, painting and making things as well, helping him learn in a fun way and making sure he can achieve his learning targets set within his age range. Kathryn is always accommodating and extremely professional and I know when I leave my son with her he is in the safest hands.
It is not only Kathryn that is great with him but also her family are fantastic with him as well and they treat him like family too. He loves that Kathryn has pets and talks about them too and I also like this as it gets him used to animals as this is an important thing to learn so he isn't scared.
My son has been with Kathryn since he was 1 and he is now 3, where did those years go, and he is still there and it will be a sad day for me as well as my son when he has to leave because she is not only great at looking after my son she is a lovely friend too so thank you.

We have been with Kathryn and her wonderful family since daughter number 1 was 9 months old. nearly 6 years later with number 2 daughter turning 3 and starting pre school we have had to part company with Kathryn. Kathryn has been a huge part of our lives and has certainly been one of the main reasons we have two very switched on, polite and delightful daughters. Always accommodating and is fantastic at knowing what the kids need. We will miss our daily interaction and we can not thank her enough for everything she has done for us.
If you only visit one childminder to find someone suitable for your child, visit Kathryn and save yourself the hassle of visiting several.

As a parent and a primary school teacher, I couldn't have wished for a better childminder for my 20 months old son . Thanks to Kathryn , my little man is developing really well every day. Carefully planned activities, trips and outdoor activities- all great, and a lot of TLC:)

Our daughter was approaching 1 year old when we began our search for the right childminder and it was the biggest decision for our family at the time. We were incredibly fortunate to see Kathryn early on and we won't forget the sensation of 'knowing' we had found the right person. Kathryn came across as friendly, experienced, sensible and, above all, safe; while at the same time we felt that our daughter was entering an established family-like environment - all of these factors came together to give us the full confidence to put our child into Kathryn's care.
It's now approaching 2 years later and Kathryn has shown amazing consistency with the balance of professionalism and care that you simply cannot put a price on. Kathryn has maintained a wonderful routine of activity, learning and friendship while giving our daughter exposure to so many fundamental elements; while all the time keeping a comprehensive record of our child's days. Kathryn's influence on our daughter's development has been incredibly positive and we, as a family, are forever in debt to her efforts.

Our only child Abi has been with Kathryn since she was 9 months old and is now nearly 3. Prior to finding Kathryn we visited several other local childminders but the second we met Kathryn and her family we knew none of the others came close. Its a big deal sending your first child to someone that you don't really know. The added difficultly we have is that we have no family locally so Abi has been with Kathryn full time from 9 months old.
Abi development since being with Kathryn has just been outstanding, and this i would say is in the main due to Kathryn's not only caring approach but also her attitude to children in general. I could go on but quite simply we can not speak highly enough of Kathryn, her family and the environment. We certainly wouldn't want out own little bundle of fun being with anyone else and we know we can go off to work on a daily basis with complete piece of mind.
Like the title says, its been like winning the lottery finding Kathryn. Our second child is due later this year and there will be no searching for a childminder this time round. We are sure you will agree once you meet her.
