My daughter has been attending Gemma's childcare for nearly 2 years. She started when she was 11 months old. We couldn't have asked for a better childminder. Gemma is caring, very professional and conscientious and really looks after the children. Her setting is perfect - beautiful play area, garden , sleeping facilities etc. Gemma plans the months, weeks and days with the children so well. They have a monthly theme (eg colours) and do activities that focus on this theme. Elleah always comes home with new arts and crafts, cakes, things she has made at playgroup and even presents. On a daily basis they head to playgroup or the park, library, shops or further afield for outings (eg London transport museum). My little girl loves Gemma and also adores Kai her son. He is a fantastic role model and she considers Kai as her best friend. From day 1 Elleah settled fantastically. She is always so delighted to go to Gemmas for the day.

Gemma provides lovely meals and snacks and completes a form for the day which tells me everything Elleah has been up to. I love reading this form and chatting to Elleah about her day.

She also takes time to do comprehensive reviews on the children. Gemma has always been supportive of Elleah's routine and is superb at communicating with us.

We feel so lucky to have had Gemma. It's been an amazing experience for all of us and I'm certain Elleah has developed so well and quickly because of Gemma's care and guidance. We will all be very sad when we leave the area and have to leave Gemma. I'm certain that Gemma is the best childminder in the area. Anyone who manages to get a place with Gemma will be delighted and also very lucky. I couldn't recommend her enough.
