I honestly don’t know where to begin with our experience with Sophie other than telling you it’s been absolutely perfect.

Our little girl started with Sophie at 15 months after never being in any other childcare setting previously to this, I knew Sophie was the one for our River when we went to meet her for the first time and within 15 minutes of being there, River went and sat on her lap. For a baby who was very attached to me I couldn’t believe it and just knew Sophie was the childminder for us.

In the 10 months River was being looked after by Sophie her confidence and development has come on leaps and bounds. Sophie takes the children on such gorgeous days out, as well as encouraging independent play at home and in the garden. She has an abundance of books and educational toys, and I truly believe this has been imperative in Rivers development over the last 10 months. Just to make clear, the only reason we’re leaving Sophie is because River has a place in a nursery, that was deferred, before we started with Sophie, so this was only ever a short term solution… sadly, otherwise River would absolutely be with Sophie until school!

Sophie is incredible with communicating throughout the day, which massively settled my mind, but is still able to be so present with the children. Receiving photos of River once she’d gone down for a nap always put a huge smile on our faces and the book she was sent home with every day with information about what she’d eaten (or not!), drank, how long she’d napped, what they’d got up to that day, as well as photos, really was the cherry on the cake. These are books I will truly cherish forever.
