We are extremely happy with the care our children receive from Claire, and the great progress they have made whilst in her care. Claire’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and our children have great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this, however, it is Claire’s warm and friendly, but no nonsense, approach which sets her apart from other childminders.
Claire provides a wide range of fun activities, including plenty of outdoor exercise. These activities include sand and water play, drawing, painting and sticking, reading, puzzles and role play as well as outings to Willows farm, Van Hague’s Garden Centre, walks in the woods and trips to soft play centres. They always sleep well after a day with Claire!
Claire is a great communicator and had no trouble in gaining our children’s trust and confidence. She encourages good behaviour, kindness and compassion to others, skills which are important to us at home.
When our children have fallen over or are feeling under the weather we know that they feel happy to be comforted by Claire and we are confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure their health and safety.
Claire provides a wonderful range of healthy, balanced meals which our children very much look forward to, and enjoy eating. She has encouraged them to try new foods and as a result the range of foods they now eat has grown considerably. Baking day is always a favourite of the children’s (and ours), since they return home with delicious cakes or biscuits which they have made with Claire.
Claire is an amazing child minder and we feel very fortunate to have her caring for our children. They are so happy when it’s ‘Claire Day’ and more often than not they do not want to return home when we collect them. It is not unusual for our daughter, during a day at home, to suggest that we phone Claire and ask her if she has a space for her.
Childcare, in which your children are as happy as our children are, is a blessing. Claire comes highly recommended by us.
