Doreen has been "with" our family for coming up on eleven years, and she has been everything we hoped for and more -- at this point she is truly more like a member of our family. When our kids were little, Doreen came reliably for three, sometimes four days a week, for several years (including covid times!). Meeting her was a stroke of luck we will always be grateful for. Together we raised some great kids! (I'm not biased or anything :) It really is the case that every family needs a Doreen -- not just to help keep the household running smoothly but also to help teach the kids how to be safe and responsible (and loving and kind). Now that our two are in year four and year seven, Doreen plays a different role. The kids love her like a family member and miss having her every week, but we are still very fortunate to have `Doreen come regularly to help out with after school things when my husband and I can't do the pick up, or the activity drop off, etc. Any time we say "Doreen is getting you from school today" the kids are absolutely delighted (including the one who is in high school now!). We hit the jackpot back in 2014, and I honestly could not imagine a better person to take care of our (or your, or anyone's!) kids. She has my and my husband's very highest recommendation - we admire her enormously.
