Doreen has been our nanny for more than three years now--and she still works for us three days a week. We couldn't function without her. She's got it all: excellent values, totally responsible, safe, kind, fun, honest, hard-working, able, thoughtful...the list goes on. She has become a member of our family and helps out with all sorts of things. She has amazing energy and is the kind of person who gets things done quickly and without fuss; you never feel as though you have to provide ideas for what she could do with the kids--she's got all the ideas and more! Doreen found all the playgroups on her own, and suggested she start swimming classes with my kids (which she now does). She's so organised it's unbelievable; she makes sure the household runs. She is also never late; as in, never. More than that, she truly cares for our children--and takes responsibility for them in a family-type way. People who meet them out at the park or at swimming often assume she is their grandmother--despite the fact she looks far too young for that! Both my son and daughter love her and ask for her every morning ("Is it a Doreen day?"). You simply could not ask for a better nanny. We are so grateful to have found her.
