My Experience
St Thomas Church Centre Mother and Toddler Group – Support Assistant
Whilst here, I was trained in the aspects of health and safety which are so important when caring for toddlers, I liaised with the staff and mothers whilst looking after the children and again I helped out with organising play activities such as arts and crafts.
3RD May 2011- 27TH January 2012- Placement at Community Support Service Sheffield (Apprentice, Care Assistant)
I have professional care assistant experience of providing support for adult who have physical disabilities and sensory impairment to maintain their independence and overcoming barrier by offering respite and floating support. I helped client with social and community activities such as sports, fitness, arts and crafts, music, out and about group and cooking and was fully trained in giving personal care and moving and handling
PMC (Pakistan Muslim Centre) - Teaching Assistant
This was a responsible position and I accomplished a cross section of duties ranging from looking the pupils at lunch time and supervising play to assisting with the organisation of various indoors and outdoors activities.
Successfully completed my charity programme at college to raise money for the street children in Guatemala America and received special thanks from the Toy Box charity organiser.
