Tracey is a wonderful, down to earth, child minder. She has a way of making you feel like you've known her for years, even when you walk through the door for the first time. Tracey always makes time for a chat at pick up and there's a communication book so you know what they've done each day. It's a full child care/nursery setting, with regular reports and photos as well as tracked updates of your child's progress each term.
My son has been going to Tracey since January 2016, when he was 21 months old. He loves the activities and outings that they do to London, soft play, toddler groups, the park and Tracey's allotment. I feel that he gets a broad range of experiences, and it's all included in the price.
I will be sad to say good bye to Tracey and her team when it's time for my son to go to primary school in 2018.
Tracy is an amazing childminder. She is calm and fun with the children, she offers wonderful opportunities daily to the children including allotment visits and trips to the farm and play groups. This is very important to me as a Forest School teacher and EYFS teacher. The children are offered lots of hands on real experiences with lots of parental experiences e.g. Fire fighters visit etc. Tracy goes out of her way to help the children settle (lots of 1 hour visits and even writing me a letter when I was on maternity leave to check how I was doing). She is also amazing with me as a parent, sending me cute videos or photos to capture those special moments that being at work you sometimes miss. She has supported my return to work with a lovely little present and always keeps me up to date with plans, progress and my little girls health and happiness. To be honest Tracy's house has become an extension of the family network. I know I can pop by whenever and be made to feel welcome. My little girl loves going to Tracy's and skips through the door waving me happily goodbye and as every parent knows that is the best feeling in the world.
My daughter starting going to Tracy when she was 9 months old. I knew Tracy as a parent as I taught both of her children in year 6 at my school. Now, I am a very anxious mother and it was very hard for me to leave my daughter with someone but Tracy has made it very easy for me. She always keeps in touch with me , sending me photos of my daughter to always reassure me that she is happy and looked after. Her assistant Hollie is lovely and my daughter seems to have taken on her too. Tracy does so many activities with the children and always keeps me in the loop with a contact book.
I am very happy with Tracy and I can't praise her enough. With her , my daughter has learned to wave goodbye and everytime I pick her up she seems to be doing something new she learnt from Tracy of Hollie.
ok where to start my daughter is 3 & 4months and has been with tracey since she was 1.
Tracey came higher recommended from a colleague at work.
so when i first met Tracey, she put me at total easy like i had known her for years, I loved the fact that it was family home and very welcoming from the get go. my daughter has made so many friends there over the years and talks about them all the time.
They do so many things with the children that attend, trips to London, farms, soft play and fire station to name but a few, she sends pictures of the outings so that you don't feel like u have missed out and talk about with your child. she also does a daily contact book and a verbel feedback everyday.
Many times my friends/family and work colleagues have asked if /when I'm going to send my daughter to a nursery and I always reply I'm not, she gets all of her needs and more meet where she is and they do so much more with her than a nursery could.
Tracey and Kerry are very supportive in every way and are very approachable with any worries or concerns you may have,
My daughter loves going to Tracey's every day and even asks to go on the weekends and hoildays, I will be sad when my daughter has to leave to start school.
so to sum up this mini essay, sending my daughter to Tracey's was the best decision I ever made and I have never regretted it.
My eldest son has been with Tracey for three years now; since he was eleven months old. Tracey really helped to settle him in, as he was a very clingy baby. It didn't take long and he was soon enjoying himself, making new friends and discovering new experiences.
My second son joined Tracey in April 2015. This was a very smooth transition, as he settled straight away. He is also very fond of Tracey's assistant, Kerry, who is always encouraging and supportive.
The setting is busy, but I see this as a positive rather than a negative, as my children are very sociable and enjoy playing games and learning with different children. My children are very well cared for and look forward to their days with Tracey.
My son has been looked after by Tracey for nearly 2 years now since he was 10 months. Knowing how happy and settled he is with Tracey makes leaving him for work so much easier!
I'm always amazed at how much Tracey and her assistant Kerry do with the kids - museums, sports days, farms, toddler groups and visits to the fire station but also every day stuff like playing at friends houses, arts and crafts, reading and going for picnics in the park. my son has built up lovely relationships with Tracey and her family as well as all the children in Tracey's care. He talks about them all non stop!
In short, Tracey and her family provide a lovely fun and stimulating home from home atmosphere for the kids in their care - Couldn't recommend more!
