About Me
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
I am an Ofsted registered 'Good' graded childminder offering a home from home childcare setting. I am married with 3 adult daughters and 3 grandchildren and a 8year old Cocker Spaniel dog.
We live in North Watford close to local schools, Parkgate Infant & Nursery School & Parkgate Jnr Schools where I drop & collect children. Local shops/supermarkets are a short walk away aswell as places of interest in the community such as the library and the local park and various toddler groups in which I make good use of with the minded children during my working week.
My Experience
I have been childminding for nearly 20 years, I took a break from minding for 3 years when I worked in a local Children's Centre. I re-registered in 2010 and have been busy since.
I offer a warm homely setting where lots of learning opportunities through play are provided as well as planned structured activities which are linked to the
EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
I have a playroom with lots of toys, games, puzzles and art & crafts suitable for children of all ages and stages of development.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 4 in childcare and education after studying a Foundation Degree at the University of Hertfordshire.
My Availability
Please note that I am based in the WD24 area and can only drop & collect children from Parkgate Nursery, Infants & Junior Schools.

Clare looked after my daughter for just over a year from the age of 6 months and the care she gave was excellant. My daughter loves her (and the rest of the family) and I was happy to go to work knowing that she was being well looked after. Clare kept us up to date on what happened every day, and they had lovely days out. I took a career break which is the only reason that my daughter no longer goes to Clare, but I would not hesitein engaging her services again when I return to work.
