About Me
I am NNEB qualified with 30+ yrs experience ,ofsted registered childminder graded good in all areas & mother of 6.
I work with an assistant who like me has 30+ yrs experience & is NNEB qualified
I live in the town centre (St Marks Rd) Mitcham with my husband and children in a 5 bedroomed house with back garden.
We are 5min walk from eastfields train which goes to central london and also there are lots of bus services in town centre as well as the tram link into croydon or wimbledon. I enjoy many trips to parks, Deen city Farm, library for story time , local playgroups & childminder drop ins .
I also have my own car and triple buggy with buggy board for the trips out to parks, playgroups etc.
We have daily activities, messy play, art & crafts , circle time etc . We also have mud kitchens, slide & ride on toys for use in the garden. We also offer home cooked fresh food daily.
We offer a fun environment that allows your little ones to grow in a nurturing environment.
From January 2025 I will have 2 x vacancies
My Experience
I qualified as a NNEB nursery nurse in 1992, working firstly as a nanny for many years , also in a nursery (head of the baby-room) and now as a childminder, plus I am now a mother of 6 children. ( youngest is 10)

My little one started 3 months ago with Paula & Keeley after we had a really bad experience with a previous childcare setting! I was so apprehensive after this but Paula and Keeley have been AMAZING. My 2 year old settled in straight away. Communication is excellent, Paula and Keeley send updates of pictures and summary of the day every day as well as a chat at the door on pickup. Feel they genuinely care about my child, he has thrived since going and can never wait to go back again š Paula is also really flexible, as I am a nurse she will do an early start for me of 6.30am which I appreciate so much. Can't recommend enough!

Our son has been with Paula for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say we couldnāt have wished for a better childminder for him. Thereās not a day that goes by when he doesnāt happily walk in when being dropped off and we truly think Paulaās setting has benefited his development hugely. We love her ācommon senseā approach and the fact they do lots of activities (including outdoors) to suit all of the children. From the moment we met Paula, we knew we could trust her and we couldnāt recommend her enough. A special mention to Keeley, Paulaās assistant who is as trustworthy and caring as Paula. Our son will start pre-school in September and we will genuinely be sad to leave them.

Our little girl has been going to Paulas for just over 18 months, pretty much full time, and her school-age sister joins her in the holidays. Paula provides loving, creative care and the kids love going to see her. My little one benefits from a huge range of experiences and regularly gets out and about, and now she has a little gang of her friends from Paulas.
Paula has been super flexible (I work shifts and she has been very accommodating of this), and always has a smile for the kids in the morning. She is integral to our whole family life working, and has been such a great find!

Our son spent 3 days a week with Paula from 18 months to 3 years. He quickly grew in confidence and enjoyed spending time with a range of ages, like a big family. Paulaās energy and creative play suits his busy character down to the ground. Whether it was messy play or a picnic on the common he always came home with a smile on his face. They made a really special bond which was lovely to see - and he still asks to see her so itās handy that she offers babysitting too!

I've been with Paula for nearly 3 years now. Both My children attend her setting. She is amazing. The children learn so much with her. They are always doing activities inside and out the house. She's caring and understanding and both my children adore her. Will absolutely recommend Paula to anyone. She is a fantastic minder and a really wonderful person. I am thankful that I found her.
