Best Childminder
I was recommended Tracey from a friend of mine whose friend has been very satisfied with a childminding service with Tracey. Before that, Daniel, my 2-year-old boy, went to another childminder, even though it was a long distance away, because she had a good review on childcare.com. However, Daniel failed to settle in for about three months, he went in crying every morning which made me feel so worried while he is staying. The childminder was unfriendly and gave very limited information about what Daniel did all day long, what he has eaten, or whether he took a nap.
So I've been very happy since Daniel has met Tracey. Now Daniel smiles and gets into Tracey’s every morning. When Daniel arrives, the children who spend time together every day run to the front door to greet him which is so nice of them. I think this shows how well my son settled in.
In the morning, Tracey takes all the children to play groups, music groups, libraries or parks near the home, and leads them to have various activities. So the children can have a good play every morning while enjoying the sunshine. At lunch time, she always provides a fresh and delicious homemade meal, and they often have story time before taking a nap. On good weather days they have a picnic in her lovely garden with lots of toys. My son has learned lots of things from Tracey through the past year, for example how to walk up and down the stairs safely, how to share with friends, how to take a nap alone and how to speak words clearly etc.
Tracey updates me with texts or photos once a day regarding what Daniel did in the morning, what he ate for lunch, how much he took a nap and what interesting episodes he had. Sometimes she sends me video clips of him and children running around and feeding birds in her garden, which makes me smile.
I found that Tracey is a very warm-hearted and thoughtful person, and gives loving care to children all the time. I would definitely recommend Tracey to parents who look for childminders. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, Daniel is staying home now. Daniel is missing Tracey and friends so much, and I hope that the lockdown is lifted soon so that he can have a good play with them again.
