The ONE and ONLY

Angela is just the perfect person to look after my son. She initially started to babysit my son when he was 2 years old. He got used to her so quickly that (unlike with the previous babysitters I had) he was not bothered when I left the house. He was well-looked after, very happy and all-smiles when I got back.
As a babysitter, Angela is extremely reliable, punctual, trustworthy and professional.
As a consequence, I moved my son out of the nursery so that she can look after him during the day as well (as a childminder). This was a huge step for me as I previously never even entertained the idea of leaving my son with a childminder but Angela's home was definitely a much better place for my son than a nursery.
The very special thing about her was her ability to make a strong bond with children. I feel that when she is looking after my son, it is not a job but a passion or a hobby, something she really enjoys doing.
She also makes sure that the children have plenty of stimulation and physical activity and my son's speech has tremendously improved.
All the kids in Angela's house have a great relationship with each other, partly because they happen to be well-natured and partly because of her great way of dealing with them. I also believe that her age places her at great position to be a great childminder/babysitter.

Definitely 'The One'

Angela looks after my 2 children, ages 3 & 1. My children had both been in formal nursery settings but I needed a bit more flexibility and someone close to home. They both enjoyed nursery and I was quite nervous about moving them to a childminder. I had no need for concern. From day one Angela has been absolutely fantastic! Both my children love going to Angela's house and are really thriving with her.

She takes them out nearly every day and they are doing lots of activities and fun things. They come home happy, full of good food and ready for a good sleep to prepare for the next days fun. My 3 year old son is even much fitter than he was at nursery. Whenever possible they get a good walk every day as well as all the activities.

Angela is a warm, friendly and genuine person. She's flexible and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her, as my children are just so happy with her.

'The One' for my child

The rating scale available on this site is not high enough to accurately represent how highly I recommend this childcare provider.
Angela came to us as an emergency childminder when we were in a bit of a squeeze with changing work commitments and schedules. An intensive workload, long hours and being a mother to a 9 month old baby is not the easiest of combinations, but Angela has done nothing short of transforming what could have been an incredibly stressful and exhausting time for my family.

Putting Christopher (who was just 6 months old at the time) into childcare was a tough decision for my partner and I, and to say we were apprehensive is an understatement. But after meeting Angela, we knew she was 'The One' for us; she is warm, bubbly, the centre of her own family and reminded us very much of a family friend who has an exceptional presence around children.

Since starting with Angela, Christopher has consistently come home to us every evening smiling, contented, well fed, clean and ready for a long nights sleep (crucial both for mum and baby), leaving again in the morning all smiles and chatter. This testimony to me that my son is comfortable and enjoys being around his childminder and a sign of a good carer.

In addition, Angela has been very flexible in accommodating our childcare needs (lots of late finishes and bank holidays) despite her normal hours being 8-5 Mon-Fri. She also doesn't take on too many children at a time which is reassuring to know that Christopher is receiving the right amount supervision (something that is lost with increasing numbers), yet he is still able to mix with other children (a key component of social development).

Another thing that I love about Angela's service is that she doesn't keep the children in the house all day long; they regularly (almost daily) go on out-trips to local playgroups, museums, farms, parks etc and I am 100% confident Christopher is receiving plenty of stimulation.

Angela doesn't just look after children, she goes over and above others in caring for them and encouraging their development. I wouldn't leave my son with anybody else.
