Rachel was the only person we saw when our son was 16 months old. I was very anxious about leaving my son but the 1st time but when we met Rachel we knew she was the right person to take care of our son. Rachel has always cared for our son just the way we do. Rachel isn't our just our childminder she is a part of our family. When our son was small she took him to different groups at the local children centre's always did arts and crafts and encouraged his learning development with his fine and gross motor skills, speech development etc. She supported us through key stages in our son's life e.g Potty training, starting school etc. Rachel did a few settling in sessions over 2 weeks and then had our son full time from 17 months old up until he started full time school where she now picks him up from.Rachel and her family are apart of our exteneded family. They have always cared for our son as if he were their own child and we can not thank her enough for taking the stress of worrying about your child when your at work away from us. Our son has allergies and Rachel has always managed her food preparation exceptionally and manages his allergies. Rachel although not looking after our son full time now still supports our son through his schooling. She is always so happy to find out how well our son is doing at school and extra curriculum actvities. Our son loves Rachel and her family so much. You don't just get a childminder with Rachel, you gain a new family and peace of mind that your child is being looked after to an exceptionally high standard.
