We started looking for childcare for our daughter just over a year ago. After visiting both nurseries and child-minders, we decided a child-minder would be best for us.
On our first visit to June's home, we were all made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. Our daughter was quite content, playing with toys and 'making friends' with another of the mindees. After a cup of tea and a chat, we were convinced June and her family would provide a safe, caring environment for our daughter to flourish. Twelve months later this has proven to be the case. Having settled in quickly, our little girl has gone from strength to strength.
She took her first steps earlier than expected, has become very lively and sociable and is quite the chatterbox.
June has a vast collection of toys, games and arts and craft materials, ensuring the children are stimulated as well as encouraged to learn new skills. She also takes them on regular visits to toddler group, providing daily interaction with other children and carers.
We could not be happier with the all-round care that June provides. Our daughter's progress over the last twelve months is in no small part down to her and her family. Knowing our child is in such good hands during the day makes it a lot easier for us to go to work. We feel extremely lucky to have found June and cannot recommend her highly enough.
