A loving, caring and fun childcare setting.

Nicky Harper looked after both my children from 9 months old until they started school, a total of 5/6 years for both of them. I couldn't have asked for more in a childminder. She is kind, loving, caring and is completely dedicated to ensuring that the children have great fun whilst they are with her. Both my kids love Nicky, she makes every day an educational, enjoyable experience and they looked forward to spending time with her. It really was a home from home for them. Brilliant childminder!

My son loved going to Nicky's house. The children go out at least once a day which is fantastic whether that be to the local woods or beach. If they didn't have chance to go out one day they were always playing in the garden whatever the weather! Nicky is very good at what she does, she has a lot of knowledge around early years and clearly loves what she does. There is a variety of toys for the children to play with and there are designated 'play' areas for the children to explore. Nicky takes lots of photos throughout the day and shows them to you via a private facebook group along with a detailed description of what the children have done that day, including what they have eaten / slept etc. I think this is fantastic as it's lovely as a parent to see what your child has been up to throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Nicky as a brilliant childminder!

Fantastic Childminder

Nicky looked after my twins from 13 months to almost 3 years old. Nicky is a very caring and experienced childminder.
Together they have attended weekly toddler groups and Nicky includes them in day to day activities like going to the library, post office or the park.
Nicky has various spaces inside her home and garden to provide variety throughout the day. My children loved playing in the garden almost daily.
The activities and themes are often led by the children's interest. Occasionally they have visited attractions further afield.
Nicky encourages the children to be independent - like putting on their own clothes and shoes (not that they do this at home).
Our settling in period was very gradual to suit our needs and I was soon put at my ease.
Nicky puts together photos and notes so we could see all the fun!
I would definitely recommend Nicky to any parents but especially for twins!

Highly Recommend

Nicky looked after my 2 children after school before she moved away. She is a very genuine, kind and caring person, my girls really loved the time they spent with her.

Superb

Nicky looked after my son from when he was one year old till he was three and a half, when she moved near Bristol. She always provided the very best care for him and he enjoyed his time with her very much. My son has Down's syndrome and Nicky embraced this. She was eager to find out how to care for him and was always supportive of any recommendations we received from healthcare professionals. Nicky is a professional childminder and takes the job seriously, but is a very friendly person. I cannot think of anyone else I'd rather leave my children with, I always knew they would be well cared for and be having a great time. She took my son out every day and he always enjoyed himself.
