For the time we used Ro we were really happy with the standard of care our boy was always happy to be left with her and he made friends at Ro’s house and the groups he went to with her.
Unfortunately due to Covid 19 lockdown our little fella wasn’t able to continue.
We hope when things become clear with our work he will be able to go back to having fun at Ro’s.

We are so pleased that we chose Rowan to look after our daughter. She is responsible and kind and on many occasion has provided sage advice and reassurance to us as first time parents (only when asked! ). We have been very grateful that she had been so flexible accomodating extra sessions at times at short notice. The best reflection of her success as a childminder is how happy our daughter had been there over the 2 years she has been attending. It is lovely to see the genuine affection she has for her mindees and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her.

Rowen is fantastic, I was frantically looking for a childminder and she came to my recuse!! My son absolutely loves going to her house, she has made him feel welcome from his first day. He goes happily every day and always says he has had a great time. I also have a school aged daughter who often says she wishes she could have gone go Rowen as well.

Ro looks after both of our children - our 1-year-old daughter most of the week, and our 3-year-old boy one day a week. Both of them love going and settled almost instantly. I love that Ro takes them regularly to toddler groups, or for days out, but she understands the need for them to have plenty of quiet play time at home, too, in a relaxed, home-from-home environment. She has a great set-up in her house, with a fabulous playroom and lovely garden, where I'm sure the children will spend lots of time in the summer.
I'm very grateful to Ro for also accepting our slightly chaotic schedule, due to one of us being a shiftworker. She has been so accommodating.
Above all, I believe Ro's ethos in raising children is totally in line with our own - gentle, relaxed and as child-led as possible - so I am 100% comfortable dropping them off each day. I would highly recommend Ro's services to anyone.

Having been wary about letting a stranger look after my child, I was instantly put at ease with Ro's warmth and friendliness when I met her for the first time in her home.
Her calm and approachable nature made my little girl settle in easily and she instantly understood what needs my child had, what with her experience from her own children and the ones she has cared for. It certainly makes all the difference when you come to collect a 'happy' child.
Rowan creates and safe and homely environment for the children and my little girl loved the huge amount of toys on offer, not to mention the crafts that she enjoyed doing with the odd picture for mummy. Ro also made the effort to take my little girl out to toddler group, which she also loved.
I would highly recommend Ro.

Hello, if Rowan has the space, then definitely I would recommend sending your child to her. She is absolutely brilliant - kind, gentle and caring with my child, flexible to my needs and always very positive and supportive. I would be lost without her. She also has an amazing play area for the children - with every educational toy you could possibly imagine. She exudes calm and is particularly good at comforting children who are distressed at drop off time - I couldn't leave my child in better hands.

Originally hesitant to let my daughter be looked after however Work reasons left little choice. After reading reviews Rowan made the initial interview easy and simple. Our daughter took to her straight away and to this day enjoys spending the day with her doing various activities. If we could we’d send her every day of the working week just to see the smile on our daughters face. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

It was rowan's warm and gentle demenour that first struck me but it is her patience and sensible/wise approach that I then came to notice.
The process of returning to work was made so much easier by how happily my little girl settled in with rowan. Not a single tear on drop off. It was wonderful to see, and all credit to rowan's kind warmth, that within a few sessions she would clamber into Rowan's lap for a cuddle. It is clear how genuinely fond rowan is of all the children she looks after.
On a number of tricky occasions I have highly valued Rowan's sensible outlook and advice, full of common sense and clearly many years experience.
She has been always flexible with any changes to plans. Her home feels welcoming and full with so much varied fun for little people indoor and out. I would highly recommend Rowan to any of my family and friends.

Rowan comes highly recommended! Since our first meeting my daughter has been very happy to be with her. She has a very warm personality perfect for looking after children which makes it that little bit easier to leave for work. Based in a homely environment with lots of toys to keep the kiddies busy and the added benefit of lovely cats (a deal clincher for my little one).

Ro has been our Childminder since Mar 14. I was very nervous about finding childcare and returning to work but I was instantly reassured by Ro's caring and professional approach. Right from the start she made our daughter feel comfortable and safe; she has never been upset to be left in Ro's care, quite the reverse, she is always excited as we arrive at the door and definitely makes herself at home.
Every day Ro provides us with a summary of our daughter's day with details of her eating, sleeping, their activities throughout the day and any achievements. I love getting home and picking up her book to see what she's been up to anyhow she's doing.
The children enjoy a variety of activities such as singing and painting, and Ro also provides a variety of toys, both educational and creative play. There is something different out every day and I love that our daughter gets such a variety in her day; sometimes it's learning with blocks or Stickle Bricks, other times it's imaginative play with the dolls or toy kitchen.
I have always been impressed by the manners and behaviour of Ro's own boys and she has ensured the same standards with our daughter; I am very keen to ensure she learns good behaviour and manners so this is really positive.
Overall the thing I have always been most impressed with is that Ro's whole focus is on the care and development of the children she minds (and obviously her own family!).
