We met Agnes when I had decided I wanted to do a 'nanny share' as my childcare option. I had spoken to and met a rather large number of people and I knew as soon as I spoke with Agnes that she would be the loving, fun and reassuring person that I needed to look after my little girl who would have been 11 months at the time. Agnes was wonderful with our little girl who simply adored her and she used to cry when it was time for Agnes to leave, so that tells you what she felt for her! Agnes was excellent with us too, I was a little apprehensive about leaving my little girl and Agnes was fabulous at keeping in touch and telling me what I needed to know throughout the day. She was also really flexible to help out starting earlier or later and would also happily work on her day off for us and sometimes on a Saturday when we needed some help. Agnes was a wonderful addition to our family for the year we were with her, I felt very lucky and the only reason it ended was because we moved away from the area. Having said that, we are still very much in touch and I wouldn't hesitate to ask Agnes to look after my toddler and baby if she could fit it in!
