About Me
I am a caring, calm and outgoing person who enjoys the outdoors and anything craft. I am married with two grown up children and live in a village setting with a Park/Play area directly behind my home.
I ensure I provide a friendly, welcoming, safe and fun environment where your child/children can enjoy being busy playing and learning, whether that be inside the home, outside in the garden or within the wider community. It is my aim to offer a homely and family environment which provides the foundation for every child to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow and develop a positive sense of self along with positive attitudes towards others.
I am open 4 full days a week with the exception of 5 weeks, which are spread throughout the year (I am closed Bank holidays).
I am afraid I do not offer half days but ask for a minimum of 7 hours per contracted day, but do offer funded childcare places.
My Experience
I have been working in Childcare for over 20 years, during which time I have worked both as a Childminder and in a PreSchool.
I have a Foundation Degree in Early Years, an NVQ 3 in Childcare and development. A Cache level 3 in Childminding, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding. I have completed training in a wide variety of areas including Senco. I am committed in continuing my professional development so as to remain up to date and current.
My Qualifications
I Have all the qualifications required of an Ofsted registered childminder but also hold a Foundation Degree in the Early Year's and an NVQ 3 in Children's care learning and development. I continually keep my training updated and have completed many short courses. .

I am available Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 5.30 pm

Jane is the first person we have left our son with that hasn’t been grandparents so we were a little apprehensive. Jane supported us with this and sends us photos throughout the day and at the beginning when our little boy was a little upset going in she would always message within five minutes to let us know he was ok. Now having gone there since September he walks in without looking back at us.
I love the little yoga sessions that Jane does and the story a day with the children and her outside area for the children to play in is fantastic.
Would definitely recommend Jane to anyone looking.

Jane is the first childminder we met and she is the best you could ever wish for. My little boy loves the setting and all the toys. Everything is always perfect and couldn’t pick fault at all.

Jane is amazing with my daughter who has been with her since just after turning a year old. Jane made the transition of me going back to work and leaving my daughter so easy. My daughter is so excited to see Jane every morning. Jane watches a child to see what skill they have begun to develop and will plan activities to help them build on it. My daughter’s development has progressed amazingly since she has been looked after by Jane.

Jane was so lovely in helping us feel at ease when we first met, and we knew straight away that she was the type of person we would be happy to leave Eira with.
Eira loves her days with Jane, she is always so excited to leap out of the car and run up to the door, waving goodbye to me immediately and forcing me out the door!
Jane does so many activities with the children and will do different themes and skills with them to help them develop. They go on trips out and play in the garden, and at home we see all the new words and play that she is obviously learning from her days with Jane.
Jane gives us reports and lots of informal feedback, and has always happily adapted to anything that’s arisen, like leaving Eira with the wrong lunchbox! We always speak so highly of her and friends and family know how pleased we are to have her as part of Eira’s world, and we’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for childcare.

My girl loves going to Jane's, she's been there for a couple of years now. She always talks of Jane fondly at home, and describes what they've all been doing in a day. Jane supports what Georgia needs and personalised her care as she knows Georgia's interests. There is a nice park they go to often. I really recommend Jane, she's so lovely and easy to talk to, she also has a lovely arrangement of toys that always gets updated too, and Georgia enjoys playing outside here too 😍😍
