We've had the most amazing experience with Violeta who has been a childminder to both of our children for over two years now.
We knew she was right for us from the first day we met her when we saw all the children she was looking after happily climbed all over her, were cheerful, well fed, clean and excited to see her.
Our oldest son is incredibly energetic. Violeta's setting us perfect for him. They spend the majority of their time outside, at the park, at soft play centres, going to local museums, farms, etc.
She's part of a network of local childminders so the kids form a safe, diverse, and wide social network through being with her.
She is really communicative, we receive regular photos of the kids throughout the day and she is so attentive at picking up on changes in children's behaviour too.
Violeta has been really accommodating with things like catering for a gluten free diet, providing emergency childcare, even collecting from our house when I was heavily pregnant and really exhausted in the mornings. The kids often come back with thoughtful little presents and treats that she's picked up or made for them. It was a no brainer for us to have her help look after our second when she was born.

It is hard to over emphasise the extent to which Violeta has helped to nurture and grow our daughter whilst in her care from the age of 14 months to almost 3 years old. She has provided an exceptional level of support from day 1 beyond anything we could have imagined. She is patient, calm, kind, has a wealth of experience and recognises the individual needs of every child in her care, helps them to learn and thrive in a loving, safe and stimulating environment. Every week there is such a variety of activities, extensive daily outdoor play and trips to farms, museums and playgroups. We saw so much improvement with our daughter’s language and socialisation skills, and she makes everything so fun, the children love her. We felt total confidence in her capabilities to handle any situation, she is totally unflappable and has an impressive work ethic. She makes balanced homemade, nutritious meals and snacks every day and sends the loveliest WhatsApp photos throughout so we were kept updated at all times. Finding Violeta has been the greatest gift, honestly life-changing to have that peace of mind as a parent that your child is being cared for like your own, she is like family to us. I would recommend her to any parent without hesitation. You will not find a better childminder!

Violeta looked after our son since he was 11 months old and still looks after him now that he is almost 3.
Our son thrives in her care, and he loves going to her every day.
Violeta provides a safe, fun and stimulating environment for children offering a wide variety of activities, trips to the local playgroups, museums, farms and plenty of time outdoors in the local parks.
We appreciate her going above and beyond by sharing her knowledge and experience which helped us gain a different perspective and develop our own parenting styles.
Violeta is greatly valued and we are lucky to have her in our lives!

My daughter joined Violeta aged 15 months, and was happy from the first hour. I cannot recommend Violeta enough, she created a really loving and supportive home from home for our daughter, and she taught her so much. I trust Violeta to always to the absolute best for every child and to be able to handle any situation with super efficiency. Always really calm, and in control, and very fun, the children always have such a fun time. She really is a super star and we couldn't have asked for better care for our daughter for the year she was with her. She taught and ensured she continued her fantastic manners, how to play really well with other children, to eat such a wide variety of foods, (Violeta is a really great cook, all home cooked very nutritious meals), D learnt so many words. Our daughter always felt save and cared for, she really loves Violeta and will miss her. We feel very lucky to have had her. Cannot recommend more highly.

Violeta is a really lovely person. She's warm, kind, personable and professional. We immediately felt welcome and at ease with her. She's calm and relaxed and at the same time on top of everything related to ours son's care. We found it very easy to build a strong relationship with her and really work together on our son's care. She's always up for trying out new activities and exploring different things to do with the children. I appreciated a lot that they are having daily outdoor activities, going to parks, museums and socializing with other groups at the soft plays. Violeta is cooking nutritious meals for the children every day, and you get told all about what they did each day - including sleeps, nappies, food and activities. We received daily updates and pictures in our whats up group and that was the highlight of our day - we absolutely loved and treasured it! Violeta is such a wonderful soul, and we are glad our paths crossed and most importantly our son loves her too!
We would definitely recommend Violeta to any parent!

My two children aged 4 and 2 have both been coming to Violeta's for over a year and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She's kind and empathetic, thinks up lovely things to do with the children, and they spend lots of time outside in nearby Ruskin Park. Both of my children adore her and she is so sweet to them. She also makes lovely nutritious dinners, has lots of toys for learning, and is located very close to Denmark hill station. She has done school pick up for us as well. I think she's wonderful and would recommend her to anyone!

I would like to reiterate my wife's comments. Violeta is the most wonderful woman. We have had no problems at all for five years. Wish we had known her for our first daughter. She really has changed our lives for the better. Children with her are happy, healthy and always full of laughter. No better childminder.

I really mean it when I say that Violeta is the most exceptional woman and childminder. My daughter has been with her from birth (she is about to be five) and I have not one complaint. For Violeta nothing is too much trouble, she has a wonderful energy and spirit, she has a massive heart and children always have a great time with her. They are able to feel really free while always having her watch over them. She really embraces the outdoors which I love, is very good at mixing children of different ages which is so important and makes them really good food. To say she is hard working is not enough. She is a tower house with the most wonderful heart and energy. Elena and I love Violeta. It is not just Elena she helps, she always has time to listen to my problems and worries! She is just the most brilliant woman and childminder. Her family are lovely too! ❤️

My twins have been in Violeta's care since they were only 7 months (they are now over 3 years old) and she has been a God send for us! As a first time mom I was very concerned about returning to work and leaving them so young in someone's care but she has been amazing ensuring they have all the love, attention and dedication for a successful development. She takes great pride in her work and always ensures the children have the best possible experience. She has a dedicated space for them in her home which is very welcoming with lots of toys that children absolutely love and she even takes the time to change the toys and decorations regularly to make it fresh and exciting for them. Every day the children embark on a new adventure with her as she takes them to various playclubs, parks, museums, activity workshops and even city farms! She is very focused on offering the best learning experience for them and has been very supportive helping them reach all the milestones (walking, speech, developing social skills). Most importantly she offers them lots of love, and meeting her you immediately know this is more than a profession for her and she genuinely cares about the children as any parent would do for their own. I am very pleased with the way the children developed in her care and she had been amazing throughout the journey in every possible way.

Violeta is a treasured part of our family’s inner support network; we trust her care, advice and knowledge of children implicitly and feel incredibly lucky to have our son in her company. The energy and love she puts into each day with the children is incredible! Each day is packed full of a huge variety of learning opportunities and activities; ranging from museums to soft play to picnics to farms. She offers the children delicious, healthy and homemade food and has been so supportive and helpful with our challenges with getting our son to eat solids. He made all of his major advances with eating thanks to her encouragement, knowledge and patience! She is so flexible with our work schedules and allowed us to drop our son off early on occasion, and is really accommodating of my pedantic obsession with nap timings which has been so much appreciated when I know she is simultaneously juggling the needs and routines of all of the other children in her care. Our son adores her and we credit her for lots of his positive development milestones and happy toddler memories. Her calm, positive and kind attitude cannot be underestimated, it really minimised all anxiety in going back to work knowing that our son was in such caring and capable hands.

My daughter has been with Violeta from 15 months old and is still currently with her. She is very kind, warm and proffessional and really cares about my daughter and treats her like one of her own. Her family are lovely and my daughter loves Bella!
Her home environment is very warm and safe and I have peace of mind knowing she will be looked after and cared for.
Violeta is a treasure and really helped with encouraging potty training as well as developing my daughters speech and language. Her attention to detail is amazing and will always offer support and advice. They do alot of activities including visiting parks and different play groups. My daughter has made a lovely group of friends with the other children Violeta cares for.
I really appreciate Violeta for all the things she does,from sending pictures of their activities, to mothers day and Christmas cards and gifts and also general artwork from pictures, paintings and pasta necklace jewelry.
I am so lucky to have found Violeta and will continue to use her services as my daughter is now of nursery age. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend!!

Violeta looked after my son from when he was 1 year old to starting school in Sept 2021. She was also looking after my 2 year daughter for nearly a year.
We love Violeta. She is so warm, calm, kind, helpful, fun and generous. My children loved going to her home. We still bump into her in the local park and my children always get a big hug. I always felt they were 100% safe and loved by Violeta and that she enjoyed their company. She made my them feel so welcome and happy.
I believe that she provides a fantastic start to life. She is always out and about in the park or at activities. She organises little parties in their birthdays and buys them gifts. She helps with things like children's emotions, potty training and eating. She is so accommodating and even helped us out when I was in hospital having my daughter.
Her family is lovely too. Her own children are kind and sweet with the little ones and her dog Bella is loved by all the children she looks after.
We felt lucky to have found Violeta to care for our children and I recommend her 100%.

Violeta has been looking after our son two days a week since he was 9 months old, and she is still looking after him now he is 2.5 years old. She is brilliant, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.
I really feel like Violeta cares about our son (and all the children), and he likes her a lot. The setting is her own home, and I feel like our son welcomed into her family. She has a dedicated room where the children play when they are indoors, which is safe and has lots of great toys. However, they spend a lot of time out and about, which I really appreciate. Before the pandemic they would go to playgroups (and hopefully will again soon) and both then and now she takes them to play in the park and the playground nearly every day.
In addition to providing the same kind of care we would, Violeta also does things with our son we don't often manage at home. They regularly do fun craft, and she has taught him some things we were struggling to teach - e.g. taking his shoes off. She throws little birthday parties for the children and gives them lovely toys.
She is a really good communicator, responsive and clear. She has also been flexible about our need to change childcare arrangements at short notice. She is a friend, and we trust her.

Hi,
I have used Violeta's services for both of my children. She is a treasure. She is so helpful, kind, considerate and above all consistent. Violeta embodies all the qualities that one will need in a childminder. Both my children love her and I can honestly say, that I couldn't have taken my children to anywhere else. She shows love and care for all the children in her care. Once I have dropped my daughter off at hers, I have peace of mind that my daughter is safe and well looked after. I consider her a friend as well as an expert in her field.
Violeta is always exposing the children to different learning opportunities. My children's health are all the better for it. She covers all the 7 areas of learning and more! What an asset you are Violeta!!

Violeta has looked after my son for the last 1.5 years and still does. She is very warm and kind and I feel that my son is not only looked after well but that Violeta genuinely cares about him. I have always felt very comfortable leaving him with her.
What I like about Violeta is the warm home environment he goes to every day. Her family are really lovely and she has been so helpful with encouraging my son to eat and helping with potty training. They always do a lot of activities. In the summer, they spend a lot of time in local parks and in winter, they are always at different play groups. She looks for activities to stimulate him and help with his development. He has really thrived over the last 1.5 years and made friends with the other children she looks after. There are many things that Violeta does that I really appreciate such as drawings on mothers/fathers’ day, sending me photos to keep me updated and celebrating his birthday with a birthday picnic.
We are very happy with Violeta and my son adores her. We feel lucky to have found her.

If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.Violeta is the kind of childminder who knows how to make the kids feel at home away from home!Delicious meals and every day outings, my daughter absolutely loves her as well as her tiny dog.She stands out by her flexibility and her communication skills.Violeta has never made us feel as if we were asking for too much.Highly recommend

Violeta looked after my daughter for two years, picking her up from school and also on various school holidays. She is a wonderful, nurturing person, gentle and kind and always flexible same helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for her. My daughter adored her little dog too. I'd recommend Violeta highly to anyone.

Violeta has been looking after my daughter from the age of 17 months until 2 years old. She has been an absolute blessing and I could not recommend her enough. We are moving outside of London but if we could bring her with us we would. She is kind, loving, yet strict enough! Rain or not, the kids are always out at clubs doing art and craft or playing in the park. Nora's development during her time with Violeta has been incredible, from talking to potty training. The other kids she is looking after are adorable too. She is also cooking delicious homemade dinner most days. She is also super flexible and that's very important when both parents are working full time. Nothing is never a problem with Violeta and the whole family will be missing her.
