Kerry has looked after both of my daughter's at different times over the last three years and I can't sing her praises enough. She is caring, compassionate and goes over and above to make sure the children in her care have the very best experience.
Her house is kept beautifully clean and she has the most incredible range of toys and resources for the children both inside and out. They spend a huge amount of time outside and go on walks and trips to the library and local parks. She organises activities that really help with the children's development and I really believe my children have learnt far more from being in her setting than they would elsewhere.
Kerry is has very strong routines which helps the children thrive and is brilliant at encouraging them to be independent which was important to us. She is also very flexible and supportive of things we do at home eg accepting our cloth nappies even though they were new to her. Kerry gives detailed updates at the end of each day along with loads of amazing photos of the children.
Both of my girls have loved going to Kerry's and get excited when they know it's her day. My three year old is now at school nursery but asks to go back a lot in the holidays. My youngest daughter struggled a lot with separation anxiety and being a lockdown baby had never been looked after by any other adults or even held by them. She took a long while to settle but Kerry was patient with her and helped us all get through what was a very emotional time. To see how happy she is a year later (she does an excited happy dance when she knows it's time to go) is testament to Kerry's fantastic care.
Everyone I know has had gripes about their childcare form time to time but I have never had any even slight concern. I genuinely feel blessed to have found Kerry as she's been the most positive influence on our children's lives.

Kerry has been looking after my daughter since she was 9 months old, she is now almost 3 and has loved every minute of every day with Kerry.
Emilia loves going to Kerry’s, she currently goes 4 days a week, she feels so loved, safe, and comfortable there, a proper home away from home!
Kerry is an absolutely amazing childminder, I couldn’t imagine sending my daughter to anyone else, the experiences that all the children in Kerrys care get are second to none! Trips to the local library, parks, and feeding the ducks are just some of the places Kerry goes with the children. Emilia regularly comes home with paintings, arts & crafts that she has done with Kerry.
At the end of every day I receive a daily diary from Kerry explaining what they have done that day, including naps, and how much of her lunch was eaten. I really couldn’t recommend Kerry enough if you are looking for a childminder in the Cheshunt area!

Kerry has been a fantastic childminder. I needed someone to help with taking my son to and from nursery and he has always been very happy in her care, she is professional, considerate and caring. She was great at letting me know how he was getting on, and I felt at ease knowing my son was being well looked after.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

We met Kerry and she really spent a great deal of time talking to me about the schools & childcare options in the area, as I'm new here. She was patient, good natured and kind to my son, seeing him up with some toys to keep him busy whilst we talked. The location doesn't quite work with our commute, but if it did, we would be using Kerry.

We had initially met with Kerry and we were initially ok with the house and the garden and Kerry to the time to go through her folders containing her qualifications etc and showed us another child's file on their progress, which she had the parents permission to do so.
Kerry was very quiet and laid back but seemed very pleasant.
As first time parents we thought it would be prudent to meet with other Childminders before signing a contract. However, Kerry then sent me a text message to say she'd spoken to her Childminder mates and thought I was actively looking for another Childminder so we withdrawing her offer.
Texting instead of ringing me to ask our discuss it was very unprofessional, and saying that she'd spoken to her Childminder mates made it sound as if they had discussed it and we felt we would not be able to find another local Childminder.
It's a privilege if a parent chooses you to take care of their child, and is their right to make sure you're the best person for the job.
Fortunately for us, Kerry showed us she definitely wasn't good enough, and we feel thankful this happened before signing a contract.

I only met this this family the one time. I gave up an hour of my family time on a Saturday to meet with them to discuss their childcare needs.
I CHOSE NOT TO CARE FOR THEIR CHILD and this family have now written this review!
I wish this family every success in finding great childcare soon.

Kerry looked after our daughter Emily on a full-time basis from 10 months - 4 years and we were delighted with the childcare provision she provided.
Kerry took the time to write daily reports for us so we knew exactly how much Emily had eaten, how many nappies she had used, and how long she napped. Kerry wrote about what they had all done each day, and if there had been any milestones achieved. Kerry’s setting is lovely and there are a wide variety of toys and outdoor equipment to play with, and Kerry ensures the children follow the EYFS by engaging them with lots of fun activities and games.
Emily felt so safe and secure in Kerry’s setting and loved going so much that we decided to keep her at Kerry’s rather than send her to pre-school at age 3. She made so much progress with Kerry, hitting her developmental targets early thanks to Kerry’s care and patience.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Kerry as a childminder, Emily loved her like a surrogate parent and we have endeavoured to keep in touch since Emily left to go to primary school. We are now not living in the area and were genuinely upset that our youngest daughter would not be able to go to Kerry.

My daughter was looked after by Kerry from 9months until 18months. I cannot thank you enough Kerry for your love and care towards my daughter.
You are so organised, tidy and so professional. You treated her like your own and she loved you and Frankie very much. the excitement on her face when we arrived at your house to drop her off was priceless. I only removed her from you care because my mother in law was available to look after her.
Gracie loved Frankie very much and misses you both. we will highly recommend Kerry and her services. thank you very much Kerry.

Kerry has been looking after my son Samuel on a full-time basis since he was 9 months old and he is 3 now. Kerry is a wonderful childminder who provides a happy, loving, stimulating and supportive home-from-home environment. Her dedication and love of her work and the children in her care is evident and Samuel’s development, confidence and independence are a testament to her.
Kerry is incredibly creative and all the children love the exciting and entertaining games and activities she plans for them according to each child’s interests and development. There is a real partnership between Kerry and the parents – the detailed daily diary which she provides is brilliant for information sharing. She also regularly sends home their fantastic learning binder filled with observations and pictures and links to EYFS. Learning is fun with Kerry and at home Samuel takes special pride in practicing what he learns with her such as writing his name and counting and recognising numbers.
All the children love the toys, books and learning aides Kerry supplies and changes on a regular basis as well as her beautiful garden and home which are always clean and very well maintained. She played a major role in getting Samuel into a routine when he first started with her, as well as in his social development, personal development such as potty training, and teaching him aides which promote his independence such as a trick to putting his coat on by himself, etc. As a full time working mum I have the total peace of mind that my son is receiving the very best care. Kerry has a special gift for childminding and we are so happy to have found her.

My little boy has been with Kerry for just over a year, I had never left him with anyone other family before and I was terrified of leaving him, Kerry was amazing, she completely put my mind at ease and kept me updated every time I asked if everything was ok, which at the beginning was a lot.
My son has come on in leaps and bounds with his speech and development because of all the work that Kerry does with the children, the house is beautiful and garden is fantastic, there is so much for the children to do and play with which is great for a 3 year old boy with energy to burn.
The children are always doing different activities that cover development in different areas, writing, drawing, cooking.
I am so happy that I found Kerry on here, she is absolutely fantastic, very caring, incredibly thoughtful, and loves children, I was really impressed with the level of discipline in her home and when out on school runs, the children listen with no issues and if the issues are dealt with promptly and in my opinion brilliantly. I can safely say that she is an amazing childminder, and I would highly recommend her to everyone my son and I are lucky to have her.
