A Super Star Childminder, truly Amazing!

We couldn't wish for a better childminder.

Our boy loved Dawn from the day she visited us at home :) he felt so comfortable and at easy around her that I knew that this was a match made in heaven :)
Dawn is caring, loving and has such a warm personality that as a parent you know instantly that your child is in good hands!
She always makes sure that kids are entertained, she takes them to playgrounds and softplay areas, for little walks and even for a trip to an Ikea which my son was so excited about, and absolutely loved it! He never came back home hungry which is as important as everything else.

He grew and developed so much around Dawn, he's a humble, little gentleman, he's caring, loving, he looks after other children (when we go to a playgrond), he does not shy away from people, he loves to talk and tell stories. He is now a confident 5 year old and I truly believe that Dawn played a massive part in his development over the past 18 months.
We can not thank her enough and we are so very grateful, and lucky that we've been blessed with Dawn looking after our boy!!!

She is an Angel! and we Love her!

Amazing 🤩 Absolutely fabulous an Angel

My little girl has been with Dawn since a baby and although she’s nearly 7 and at school she still attends Dawns house in the holidays. My little one longs for the holidays to come as she absolutely adores Dawn and cannot wait to spend the days with her having fun and eating all of Dawns yummy nutritious food especially her sausage casserole.

From the first meeting with Dawn my little one felt so comfortable with her which made me feel at ease & I just knew I could go to work and not have to worry as I knew Dawn would take good care of her & keep her safe as well as teach her lots of things and also have fun going on days out making things etc. Her setting is clean, safe & full of toys for different ages. Dawn was very informative and answered all the questions I had with no hesitation & was very reassuring. It was a no brainer where do I sign.

Children always greeted with a warm smile & a big hug and if my child is sad you just know Dawn can make it better with one of those hugs & reassurance. Dawn has taught my child a lot & she has thrived being with her. She comes home full of stories of what she’s been up to. Dawn has always kept me up to date every day with my little ones progress & sends pictures of what she has been getting up to & very good at reporting any concerns etc. Dawn is more than just a childminder she is superwoman and one of the kindest people I have ever met. Dawn has always gone above and beyond to help especially during covid when I had to work and kept my little one extra safe and we owe her a lot.

Every parent needs a Dawn in their lives she’s simply amazing.

The best!

Our daughter went to Dawn’s house from 7 months old until she started school in 2021. She absolutely loved it and thrived in her care. We genuinely talk about how Dawn played a huge role in her early years development and made her the bright little 6 year old she is today! Even though we have moved and the journey is longer, we did not hesitate to approach Dawn to care for our 5 month old when I return to work full time next month.

Dawn was forever taking our daughter out and about to different groups/ activities and we were always kept updated with how the day went. She is super professional, friendly and reliable (even through covid) and the thought of returning to work has been made so much easier knowing our son will be going to Dawn’s house.

As other reviewers had said, Dawn provides the children with healthy and nutritious meals daily and we still can’t beat her sausage casserole!

Amazing Childcare

Dawn has cared for both my Children for over 12
Years.

My daughter started with Dawn at 11 months old and my son when he was 1. They are 13(nearly 14) and 7 now.

Dawn made my return to work with both children much easier as she made me feel confident in leaving them in her care and they were always happy and well cared for. Dawn gives daily feed back on how their days had been. Photographs of what they had been up to are provided through their observations on the baby’s days digital system that Dawn uses now. When my daughter started Dawn recorded hers all by hand with printed photographs which we will keep forever as a keep sake of her time with Dawn.

Dawn provides the Children with so many activities and experiences that enhance and develop their learning in all areas. My children particularly enjoyed their trips to toddler group, walks in the woods looking for mini-beasts, Day trips to the farm, museums and parks they still ask to go to the carrot park as they call it as this was a firm favourite. They also liked the everyday home from home activities like a trip to the shops or the post office. They would regularly bring home art work or things they had made during cooking activities. They loved dressing up with their friends or playing board or group games. They also enjoyed being able to sit on the sofa and read a book or just sit quietly if they wanted too.

Dawn provides a wide range of toys and resources for the Children to explore and play with. Dawn provides toys and activities which are are age and stage appropriate for each individual child’s needs and abilities.

Due to my working hrs the children had all their meals with Dawn on the days they were there. which were always nutritious and varied the children learn about eating healthy but would also have treats in moderation. Dawn always caters for individual needs.
Sausage casserole was a particular favourite of all the Children that attend at the same time so much so that during covid Dawn personally doorstep delivered portions to the children.

Dawn goes above and beyond with the Children in her care and the food drop is just one example.

Dawn always discussed the children’s needs with me like potty training my son took a while to take to it so we started then after discussion again stopped as we thought he was not ready. Dawn always listens, discusses, advises and worked with me as a parent in the best interests of the children.

My youngest still attends in the holidays when needed and still enjoys it as much as he did before he started school.

Dawn has played a massive role in my children’s growth and development. Thanks to the great social interactions they have had in Dawns care they have grown In confidence. She has supported them emotionally through difficult times and celebrated and encouraged their achievements.

I can not thank Dawn enough for the care, learning, attention and support she has given them she truly is amazing and her childcare is definitely outstanding.

The BEST

The only reason I am having to leave Dawn is because of moving house. If I could pick her up and take her with me I would!

My son starter with Dawn at 10 months old and as my first child, it was a daunting experience. Dawn made me feel at ease, and my son settled so well into life and routines at Dawn's.

He has thrived, learnt, and been in a safe and secure environment and that's all I mother could ask for.

Dawn is absolutely wonderful with the children, she interacts well with them, they do all sorts of activities which are reflected in the daily photos.

I really, really cannot fault Dawn at all. I can only thank her for giving my son the best start in life.

Recommend!

My daughter was with Dawn for over a year and a half.
I was very nervous to leave my daughter after returning from maternity leave but any worries soon vanished. She loved being at Dawns, always varied activities indoors and outdoors, lots of learning and alway came home with things that she had made and learnt that day.
My daughter made some good friends in dawns setting and bonded really well with Dawn - It really is a home from home.
We were sad to leave and only did as we were relocating.
Dawn is really reliable and never let us down. We would definitely recommend “dawns house” ☺️

Our "Mary Poppins"

Dawn has been a fantastic childminder for my Daughter for just over 3 years.

My Daughter has loved going to Dawns and has made lots of friends there. Dawn is warm, welcoming, caring and approachable and offers a wide range of activities and experiences for the children. They visit the library, parks, soft play, toddler groups and days out with picnics frequently as well as doing activities at her home. She has helped my daughter develop all her early years skills.

My daughter always comes home happy and talks about her day along with things she has created whilst in Dawns Care. Dawn provides a home from home environment which is what I was looking for, and has fulfilled my hopes and expectations for childcare for my daughter. Dawn made the whole experience easier for me, never letting me down, and making me feel comfortable leaving my daughter with her. I have never had any doubt about my daughter’s safety or happiness when she is with Dawn.

I would 100% recommend Dawn.
