Another update as I realise I haven’t given a review for 4 years now.. my son has been with Jenny from being about 10 months old but has known him since birth due to being a childminder for my older son who is now nearly 16. My son is now 8 years old and goes to Jenny’s after school Monday to Thursday every week. He enjoys going and more or less having extra time to spend with some of his friends from school. He always leaves happy and with a full tummy as Jenny ensures all children are fed and watered before they leave (unless you ask her not to)
Jenny is an honest and amazing women who has the patience of a saint.
She’s become more part of my boys family now having being in their lives for so many years.. she has been amazing at more or less being the third parent in helping bring up the boys from nappy rash, teething, removing the dummy to even helping with speech and language and behaviour. She knows when something is not right with my boy on how he behaves in her setting e.g if he’s quiet or overly tired or starting with a cold etc.
All I can say is I don’t know what we as a family would have done without her.
If you are looking for a childminder in this area you will not be disappointed with Jenny.

My two children have been with Jenny for just over a year now, and what a lovely year they have had. After moving on from a previous childcare setting where my daughter was upset every day before going in, I thought she may have done the same again, but with Jenny she has been happy from day one.
My children thrive on being busy and going on adventures, and this is something Jenny does frequently. They can’t wait to tell me what they have been up to at the end of the day, and I really do enjoy speaking to Jenny on collection too. Thanks for everything 😊

Been with jenny now for under a year, patience is one I'd say jenny has, becasue my lad is a challenge. and the ways he's come on in last year has been brilliant
Hes still a trouble but jenny seems to know how to handle his behaviours and he actually listens more while he's with her than when he's at home
Always giving feedback at the end of his session a friendly room to take him for a few hours to play with children of his own age

My little boy has been in Jennys care now for just over a year and he loves it, he has come on leaps and bounds with Jenny, it's a lovely home from home environment for him with little outings and he always comes away smiling. Jenny is a lovely lady and very honest and reliable, she keeps me up to date with regular progress reviews and feedback . I would highly recommend Jenny.

I don’t even know where to start really, unfortunately for us it’s time to move on as a family, which means I have to admit that my youngest daughter is going into her next chapter and starting nursery to get her into the routine before she starts school!
I have had Jenny for 5 years combined with my other daughter and they have loved every minute, Jenny looks after Poppy like she’s one of her own, she is kind, attentive, empathetic and will often put parents and children’s needs before her own.
There are times she’s bent over backwards for me in my time with her, during my relationship break down and helping settling the girls back into life with me as a single parent.. and I will be forever grateful.
The setting is clean and tidy, will lots of different activities to play, I know Jenny follows the rules of covid and everything gets cleaned and sterilised in between kids coming and going.
Massive thank you to you and your family Jenny for being a massive part of my girls upbringing for the past 5 years!
I would thoroughly recommend.

Jenny has had my children for 2 years now, being a working family, she goes above and beyond for us, whether it be altering times/days or just lending an ear when I have a problem! She really has become like family to us!
Both my girls absolutely adore Jenny, not just Jenny her whole family - especially my youngest who adores her daughter!
We can go to work with ease knowing that it’s not just a “childminder” setting, my girls are so comfortable there they make themselves right at home and it’s amazing to see.
I love picking them up and hearing what they’ve been getting up to, or what adventure they’ve been on during the day.
I have to thank Jenny for the support she has given me with my girls. She’s supported me with health visitor visits, and any development worries I’ve had. We’ve worked together she’s put plans into place and reassured me!
Not just my childminder but a friend!
Such a lovely welcoming home, and all the children are amazing who attend. My girls love them all and have made some proper little friends!

Just an update on a previous review to emphasise how wonderful this childminder is. My eldest son 11 has now left the setting as he has started secondary school but is still very much involved with Jenny and sometimes attends in school holidays with his younger brother. He was with Jenny from being 3 year old.
My youngest Son 4 attends Jenny’s setting 4 days a week after nursery and spends the rest of the day there. He has been there from being 10/11 month old.
Jenny is very flexible and will accommodate you where possible.
My son loves attending the setting and has a lovely relationship with Jenny and the other children there.
I feel like I can go to work and not worry about my son and know he is in more than capable hands.
I can speak to Jenny regarding any issues and she will help and advise accordingly.
My son also gets on very well with Jenny’s family and they welcome him into their home openly.
As I said in the title she really is worth her weight in gold.
She does lots of development work with my son and his vocabulary and development is brilliant.
She has a healthy variety of food available and does regular outings to play areas and parks and seaside trips in the holidays.
She has a variety of play for all ages to entertain and educate from babies to teenagers.
She has a lovely home with plenty of space for indoor and outdoor play.
She does an amazing job.

Jenny has been looking after my baby for the best part of a year, she started at 7 months, I fully believe she has had a huge impact on her development, she has never left her out even at such a young age, she regularly visits soft play and goes bowling.
She is now 14 months and has an excellent relationship with not only Jenny but her husband and 2 children and most definitely keeps the other children in the sitting on their toes.
The children are provided with a wide variety of toys books and activities in the play room.
They all sit down and eat healthy meals together which sometimes the children help prep and learn about the differences in healthy food choices.
Jenny has always been fully flexiable and works with me knowing I have another child and supports me and my partner working full time so life is hectic at times!
Jenny has become a huge influence and my daughters life and she absolutely loves going to Jenny's.
if I have had any concerns over my daughter for example development etc she has always been there and advised and used her knowledge to help us.
She regularly has meetings to discuss a child's development and has a record book where she takes photos and writes down milestones and make sure she keeps parents well up to date with photos and text messages - which are lovely when your at work.
I wouldn't even hesitate in recommending Jenny.
She does a Fantastic job!

If used Jenny for 5 years and my children adore her. Never had any problems she's always busy doing stuff with the kids or on outings with them.
I would highly recommend her she is a lovely lady x

Jenny has been looking after my son (9) for 6 years and my other son (2.5) for 1.5 years. My sons love to go to Jenny's. She provides a fantastic home from home service which is great especially with potty training etc. My youngest sons development is fantastic for his age and he learns so much. She takes the young ones to play areas at least once a week and all children to parks etc after school. In the school holidays they go on days out to the seaside, animal farms, parks etc. Her setting at home is spacious and outdoor area is lovely. I would highly recommended Jenny to any parents looking for childcare.
