Great childminding experience

Iona took care of our son for around 1 year and we were very happy with the standard of care Iona provided. He was in a home from home environment and was always very pleased to go to Iona's in the morning and was always happy at collection.

A Wonderful Influence on our Boys

We have been using Iona for the past three years – our sons are with her all day, two days a week. She is a wonderful influence on them and our eldest son in particular has developed a very special bond with both her and the other children in her setting. We can see the same happening with our youngest son who has been going to her for the past few months.
Iona takes her responsibilities and profession very seriously. We have a daily diary for both children where she will detail what activities they have done throughout the day, what they have eaten, how long they have slept and anything they might have said or done that was noteworthy. She also produces a termly learning journey which is brilliantly detailed and very useful for charting their development. The children are often taken on outings such as music classes, soft play, play dates, the park and other indoor/outdoor activities which has provided them with a great variety of experiences. Iona has played a huge part in key milestones for them such as learning to walk, talk, count, use cutlery, write, potty train – the list is endless but we find her advice and guidance indispensable. Her setting is immaculate with clearly defined areas for the children and a huge variety of toys for them to choose from as well as providing wholesome, healthy meals not to mention cuddles and love on the occasions they get tearful. When out and about she has instilled a great sense of safety and awareness and because of her our son has always been brilliantly disciplined about holding hands or holding on to the buggy when walking on the pavement. We have no doubt that any concerns with our children’s development and well-being would be picked up by Iona and she provides a wonderful, flexible environment for our children to learn, play and be nurtured. We cannot believe how lucky we were to have found someone like Iona to care for our children and we wholeheartedly recommend her!

Absolutely brilliant!

I would recommend Iona to every mother! My little girl adores going to Iona's and squeals with delight when we arrive. I have no doubts in my mind about the wonderful level of care and attention which Eva receives. Iona has been extremely flexible and understanding when my child care requirements have changed at short notice.

Excellent childminder

Iona provide care for my two girl and she is fantastic. My 3yr old adores her. She's great with the kids, do alot of fun stuff and outings with them. I go to work with no worries because I know my kids are in safe hands. I think it's a miracle I found her and would recommend her to anyone out there who needs a childminder. Thumbs up Iona.
