Outstanding care

Maureen looked after our son for around 6 months, and we couldn’t be happier with her service. She is caring, thoughtful and kind. Our son improved his English while at Maureen’s. We loved the way she speaks to the kids and how she tries to get them to different activities around the neighbourhood, encouraging a faster development. We highly recommend her services and will still use it in the future for school pick ups:)

Excellent caring childminder

Maureen looked after both our children over two years, and hopefully will still have them from time to time in the future !
Maureen is all I ever wanted in a childminder. Gentle and caring yet firm but fair.
She is a great communicator and has the ability to cope in any given situation. She has years of childminding experience. I always went to work with full confidence that Maureen would care for my children beautifully and they were always super happy at Maureen’s home.
They attended lots of baby groups with Maureen and she always had fun activities for them to do throughout the day. Her home is well set out. The children love the play room and garden. My daughter and son thrived with Maureen and I will forever be great full to her for all she has done for my children. Best childminder around - I would give 10 stars if I could !

Lovely and warm childminder for our two kids

Maureen has been an excellent childcare provider for our two children, aged 1 (full days) and aged 3 (nursery pickup). Her home is warm and inviting and she has ample space for children, including a dedicated play room and outside garden. A few things that set Maureen apart is that she really encourages independence in the children she looks after, but still provides loving care and guidance. We also appreciate how flexible she is in terms of accommodating our sometimes erratic work schedules and communicating about our children's progress in the ways that works the best for us. We are only discontinuing childcare under Maureen because we are moving to Scotland! But we have so appreciated her care for the last 7 months.

Great childminder

Maureen looked after my daughter from just before she turned one until a few months after she turned two when we moved and sadly had to find a new childminder. Maureen was a great childminder and Amelie was very happy with her. I was anxious about going back to work and having to leave Amelie but I quickly felt reassured that she was being well looked after and enjoying her days. Maureen was friendly and welcoming and keen to find out all about Amelie so she could help her settle in as easily as possible. She wrote a wonderful diary every day so that I knew all about what Amelie had been doing. Amelie was cared for very well and her development was well supported by going out to various playgroups and other activities as well as having lots of toys and activities to do in the house. It felt like the home from home that I wanted to find. Maureen got to know Amelie so well and talked about her with genuine affection. Maureen was also very flexible and accommodating around mine and my husband’s working hours. I feel that we were really lucky to find Maureen and to have the peace of mind that came from knowing Amelie was being so well looked after.
