My children absolutely love going to jan’s House and I feel so happy leaving them there. Jana is one of the most kind and caring people I know. I’ve never had to use childcare before so I was really anxious about leaving them. Jana made the transition for us really easy and helped in any way she could. My children are always welcomed into her home and leave very happy. They have lots of fun and love playing with her children and the other children in her care. They have lots of things to tell me when they get home. They love going on days out and there favourite is the local park for a picnic and play. There is always lots to do at jan’s house, including creative and messy play and lots of outside physical activities. I could not recommend a better Childminder!

Highly recommended

Jan’s house offers a home from home childminding experience one in which my children love.

Jana is one of the most down to earth, nicest, caring people you will ever meet. Nothing is too much to ask and your children will feel at home and comfortable immediately. Both daughters are wary of new people and new places but as soon as they arrived they felt so comfortable and always ask me when the next ‘Jana Day’ is.

Both my daughters are looked after by Jana and they love spending time at Jan’s house. They have such a variety in activities from visiting local wildlife, crafting and even days out. They love telling me what they have been up to and experienced, they most definitely sleep well after.... I couldn’t ask for more!

Amazing and trusted with my child’s medical needs.

We travel about 12miles to bring our child to Jans house and will continue to do so until he has to go to school. Due to our child’s medical needs and low immunity it was a struggle to
Find someone or a childcare setting that we could feel relaxed with leaving our child. Due to his medical needs the nursery setting which is next door to our house and amazing wasn’t a great choice as he was forever getting poorly so needed to take lots of time off and one on one care. His appetite was really poor which also didn’t help his health. Since going to Jana house he has started eating well and trying lots of food with encouragement from Jana. He is excited to go to Jans house and loves the family environment. It really is like home
From home for him. He has confidently started using the potty and given up
His bottle which has been fully supported by Jana even taking a portable potty on days out for him.

The house is always clean and welcoming and the children are all so polite and happy when I collect my son. For the first time in over 2 years I am comfortable leaving my son as jans has made a conscious effort to understand his medical needs and has helped us as a family maintain his regular
Medication which has resulted in the longest time he has has out of hospital ever. This is huge for us, we would travel
Even further if we needed to as the care he gets makes it worth it.

The way he speaks now is so clear he is polite and confident. You only have to watch Jana and the children for a minute to see how much of a natural she is with all the children! Lots of pictures and updates throughout the day too :)
