Evelyn is amazing with the children! She looked after my son from 3 years old and he had such fun going to the beach, park, mums and tots, play centres and so many more places. He got to do baking, painting and things that most mums do with their kids, so in effect it was like a home from home for him. I never had any concerns as I knew he was being very well looked after, her house was extremely child friendly with many activities and games to keep him occupied. Evelyn does so much with the kids, I honestly think she deserves a gold medal, they are always out and about exploring and having adventures. I am truly grateful to Evelyn for everything she did for my son and I would definitely recommend to anyone. Xxx

I have been friends with Evelyn for many years and I spend time with her regularly at her home and on days out with her, her family and her childminding kids.
She is a very caring person, consciousness and is a good friend. She has looked after my kids at weekends, week days and overnight and they always come home having had lots of fun and feeling valued as she boosts their self esteem with her witty personality and fun games.
She has good values and a genuine interest in her little people's welfare and health by keeping them active, taking them outdoors and giving them quality snacks. She is fair and treats all the kids on an even playing field and has no favourites.
Evelyn has a good routine, structure and boundaries which kids need to feel safe.
Evelyn is also well known in Cairneyhill to have looked after other children successfully that have failed with other childcare providers as she caters for the child's individual needs and nurtures them with her patient and caring nature and structured timetable making the child feel valued, included and responsible.
She is very reliable and has only taken time of 3 times in 18 yrs!
I have read the reviews on here and apart from one I believe are a true reflection of her professionalism and kindness. If I had another child that needed looked after I would let her look after them in a heartbeat as she does such a good job.

My some currently goes to Evelyn and has done for 8 months now. I feel confident in leaving him there as the level of service is excellent. My son runs in happy and tells me wonderful stories about his time with Evelyn and her family. I would highly recommend Evelyn as a childminder.

My boys have been going to Evelyns for six months now and both enjoy being there. She is great with the kids and very hands on. She has a very child friendly home with a variety of toys, games, arts and crafts etc. I only no longer use Evelyn as I no longer work and therefore don't require childcare anymore.

Evelyn used to childmind my children for a couple of years. She provides good food & plenty activities. My children loved to go to Evelyn's. I would use her again in a heartbeat. I only no longer use as changed jobs & didn't require childcare anymore.

Sometimes my 2 boys don't want to come home! Evelyn is brilliant with them, with busy days full of activities, books, games, toys and crafts. Evelyn provides healthy meals and snacks to suit them both. I love reading the daily diary and getting lots of photos throughout the day. Evelyn's home is super child friendly and they go on lots of trips to parks,soft play and toddlers which they both enjoy. Please contact me if you would like a personal reference.

My son is currently in Evelyns care and has really settled in well. They do lots of different activities and are always kept busy and learning. Evelyn promotes healthy meals and snacks and encourages the children to do so. She has everything you can think of to play with in her playroom and garden but also takes the children to parks and groups to have them mixing with out children and gets them fresh air. I have found Evelyn very easy to approach and very honest. She keeps a diary to let me know what they have been doing and eating and any other details that I may want to know. Evelyn is also very flexible and happy to bend over backwards to help parents and the children. She pays personal attention to the children's interests too. Knowing I can go to work and that my child is learning, safe and having lots of fun is a weight off my shoulder and I would highly recommend anyone to use her as a future childminder!

I can highly recommend Evelyn to anyone looking for quality childcare with a personal touch. She looked after my son and daughter, 8 and 5 respectively, for 6 months while my long term childminder was on maternity leave. I found her to be friendly and welcoming while delivering a highly professional service. She took the time to really get to know my children and they really enjoyed their time with her. I was very happy with the excellent service and facilities provided by Evelyn and had we not been so attached to our own regular childminder we would have been very happy to have stayed.

My 7 year old daughter has been going to evelyn,s since she was 17 months old and I cannot praise Evelyn highly enough! she is the best child minder ever and i,m so lucky to have found someone who really does care about the children. She has so many activities going on in the house and my daughter is never bored and on top of that Evelyn makes sure the kids are also stimulated outside by taking them to lovely places and ensuring they have plenty of fun in whatever they do. My daughter actually gets upset when I turn up to collect her as she doesn,t want to come home! you really won,t be disappointed if you let your child go to Evelyn,s, she,s my saviour!

My daughter and son have been childminded by Evelyn for almost 3 years now and in all that time I have never had any complaints. They are both very happy there and are provided with healthy meals and snacks and there is plenty for them to do. Evelyn is very flexible and always tries to accommodate changes to days or hours often with short notice. She treats each child as an individual and will always take seriously any concerns that they may have. The kids especially like going during the school holidays as Evelyn will take them out for the day with a picnic, usually to parks if the weather's OK but will also take them on trips to the cinema, Glasgow Science Centre etc if outdoors isn't an option. She is very approachable and open and regularly asks me if I'm happy with her childminding. I would highly recommend Evelyn as a childminder and would be happy to provide a reference.
