Like a second family

We are so happy that we chose to send our daughter to Lilly-Lou’s. Charlotte and Tracey both work incredibly hard to provide all the children with a loving and caring environment. Our daughter was made to feel welcomed from day one. She thinks of Charlotte and Tracey as part of her extended family and on some days she doesn’t even want to come home.
Charlotte and Tracey provide a wealth of exciting activities including painting, drawing, outdoor play with water, reading and puzzles. As well as outings to the park, trips to the farm and taking part in community events such as coffee mornings and the annual Scarecrow festival.
Communication is fantastic by both ladies as they provide both verbal and written feedback on a daily basis. Regular feedback is also provided on the Tapestry app which allows us all to upload photographs, comments and to keep up to date with our daughter’s development on her EYFS learning goals.
We love Lilly-Lou’s and would strongly recommend the fantastic childcare our daughter receives.

The perfect setting for us 💕

We couldn’t be happier with Charlotte’s childcare. We travel from Horwich to Blackrod because we believe this is the perfect setting for our little girl. Charlotte and Tracey have a lovely, caring and kind manner with the children. They are passionate, proactive and plan the most amazing variety of experiences indoors and outdoors- including swimming lessons. They create amazing opportunities through child led play, puddle splashing, cake baking and sledging in the snow. They embrace all types of weather and children’s interests.

Charlotte and Tracey’s communication is fantastic and so important to us. They communicate with us via a parent photo and report app called Tapestry, via what’s app and also through a daily diary which is filled in with incredible detail.

They constantly seek input from us as parents to gain an understanding of our child’s likes and dislikes and fully act on feedback.

Ivy has thrived through her time with Charlotte and we would like her to stay there right up until she starts school as we can’t imagine a more personal, caring and happy provision. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough 🌟

Excellent childminders

My son has been going to Lilly-Lou’s since he was 9 months old and unfortunately leaves after the summer to start school. He loves going and enjoys every minute he spends with Charlotte & Tracy, they are always up to something weather it’s out on big walks, going to the parks, library, going on bear hunts, joining in at the local play groups. They attend weekly swimming lessons. I’m always getting some sort of painting or drawing and sometimes even crafts that he has made and so proud of and can cherish. His learning has really progressed and can tell they both really care for my sons well being and growing up, they do baby yoga, learning and singing new songs and stories as well as concentrating on his next stages with counting, learning the alphabet, learning to trace letters etc.
Everything they do each day is communicated back to you and I enjoy hearing everything they have been up to and seeing all the pictures.
I couldn’t have found a better Childminder’s to send my son too over the last few years and I would highly recommend both Charlotte and Tracy they are both trustworthy, loyal, kind very profession and both care for all the children there.

Simply outstanding!

I can't recommend highly enough! My son has been with Charlotte and Tracey from 7 months old and he loves it. They have provided both a caring and developmental environment for him from day one and were very flexible when our requirements were chaotic in the beginning. Since then my son has been going full time and I know that he is in safe hands whilst we are working. He has big smiles for Charlotte and Tracey every morning and is happy to see them and vice versa. They have varied activities inside and outside of the setting and it's lovely to receive little keepsakes (drawings, paintings, cards) and catch up with what he's been doing throughout the day. Both Charlotte and Tracey always have time to have a chat about my son's day. He also gets the opportunity to go to groups and mix with other children which he thoroughly enjoys and gets out in the fresh air often. I know that he is well looked after and gets lots of care and attention, and plenty of cuddles when he is poorly or teething or just needs a little TLC. He has tasty, nutritious meals and Charlotte has matched what we are doing at home throughout his weaning. His progress is monitored regularly and he is encouraged to develop both physically and mentally and is making good progress as a result. We are kept well informed about what he has achieved and share our next steps so that we work together on his development. Charlotte is very well organised and professional whilst offering very homely care. I would say it's like having family caring for my son but the reality is that it's even better! Simply Outstanding!

Outstanding childminders.

I found Charlotte and her assistant Tracey on this site, and at the same time they were highly recommended to me by a colleague. They have been caring for my daughter (now 14 months old) since she was 9 months old, and I could not be happier with the quality of care she receives. The ladies are very friendly, approachable and thorough in their standards of care. I was very nervous about leaving my daughter when I first returned to work but I quickly realised that there was nothing to worry about. My daughter is in exceptionally good hands. She loves going to Lilly-Lou's, it's like a home from home for her, and she adores Charlotte and Tracey. They give the children so many fun things to do, and go to so much effort to make the children's time enjoyable and educational. Both myself and my husband would not hesitate to recommend Lilly-Lou's over and over again!

Fantastic

My eldest son Liam has been attending for two days a week for the last year, Charlotte and Tracey are brilliant at meeting our families needs with flexible term time child care to work around our professions. Liam has grown up so much and has built a close bond with Charlotte, Tracey and the whole family. He loves the range of activities particularly getting outside and going on day trips. Our youngest son Leyton has now started for two afternoons a week and he has settled in easily and is always happy and smiling when picked up.
Recently our health visitor completed Liam's two year check, she said that the paperwork on Liam's development was the most detailed she had seen and is testament to the hard work of Charlotte and Tracey.

Excellent Childminder

My son Loves Charlotte and her family and really enjoys his time at Lily-Lous. He gets very excited every time i drop him off and never wants to go home when i pick him up, this shows me how happy he is at Charlottes.

Charlotte is an excellent and dedicated childminder. She provides the children with both a fun and educational schedule in a warm and loving environment. She has brilliant facilities at the house with a wide range of toys, books and activities for the children to do. She also takes the children to playgroups so that they can interact with other children and spends alot of time doing outdoor activities, which my son really enjoys.

Everyday at Lily-Lou's is different so the children never get bored and they are always learning. Charlotte is always full of energy and has excellent organisational skills which enables her to fit in alot of activities with the children throughout the day. She also takes loads of pictures which are available on her website so that parents can see what their children have been doing throughout the day.

She has always been willing to have my son longer than intended if i needed her to, which i find very helpful. My son has Just started school but i am very happy to keep him at charlottes so he can enjoy the before and after school care she provides and so he can still enjoy time at Lily-Lou's.

I would thoroughly recommend Charlotte to any parent. She is very professional as a chilminder, very loving to the children and has a genuine relationship with every child in her care.
