Outstanding, bespoke and simply one of the best

Yvette was recommended to us in 2018 by our main childminder who could not cover certain days. My daughter was 3 at this point. In choosing any childminder, we hoped for someone who offered something more bespoke than a nursery and where our daughter could feel she was getting 1-2-1 care. As with any referral, you doubt you can achieve this but finding Yvette was one of the best things that have ever happened to us in our ongoing childcare experience.
Yvette is not just an Outstanding childminder – she is also one of the loveliest people we know. She cares deeply for her children in her care and works hard to keep them occupied, happy and comfortable throughout the day. There are frequent excursions and ongoing home-based activities (indoor and outdoor) and the other children always appear happy when I drop or collect my daughter – always a great reflection on the childminder. If my daughter wobbles at the front door after any longer period of absence (e.g. school holidays) she is immediately cuddled and made feel welcome and reassured that she can take it at her pace. There is constant activity if that is the mood of the day. My daughter always come home happy and is always reluctant to leave.
Yvette has been in the childminding business for some time and nothing phases her and no ask is too small – she accommodates working parents and her hours work well with ours. My daughter also has to eat a special diet and this is accommodated without question and safety was always paramount. The ease with which she adapted to this was beyond reassuring.
Yvette’s setting is bright, modern and airy – all children must love going into this as even a parent can see that it is a child’s idea of heaven.
Yvette is kind, professional and trustworthy. In her hands you don’t have to worry. My husband, I and, more importantly, my now 6-year-old daughter would not hesitate to recommend her.

Outstanding, Caring and Professional Childminder

My daughter  was moved from a childminder rated "Ofstead Good" to Yvette, who is rated "Ofstead Outstanding". And I saw a huge difference in the service and care provided!

Yvette keeps me and my husband  regularily updated with my daughter's activities, shes sends pictures and advises what she has been up to. We love this as its so nice to see what your child is doing whilst you are at work.

It is great to see all the space available for the children at her home. She provides a large playroom which contains a large amount of toys, making it very cosy. A lot of these toys are learning toys. Despite the large amount of toys the place is well managed and tidy. I love that she home cooks food and then sends me receipes of some of the food my daughter has enjoyed. Yvette has a large garden with toys outside that aid with physical development.

 Also when she lays out activities for her, Yvette sends me the learning and development my daughter is getting from it.

Yvette is ever so approachable and I know i can speak to her about anything to do with my daughter. She has given me some really good advice and tips,when my daughter has developed some bad habbits/traits and how to overcome these.

My daughter adores Yvette, so much so that my daughter never wants to leave. That tells you in itself of the loving nature of Yvette, the environment she provides, the facilities she provides and activities shes laid out to entertain and at the same time, help her to learn.

As a parent its gives me comfort that my daughter is in good hands.
