The best decision we could have made!

We feel so grateful that we found Katie & James' childminding services when we did. After spending a very long time looking in the area at both nursery and childminding settings (but with out much luck) we immediately felt assured that our son would thrive in their setting after meeting with K&J.

Our son was immediately comfortable with them (which was amazing seeing he was a lock down baby and had never spent time away from us prior to being at their setting) and from the get go we felt at ease knowing he was in their care.

We love the vast and interesting range of activities they do at home (inside and in their well equip garden), the outdoor fun they have at playgroups, in the woodlands, playgrounds and more , the daily updates/photos and the intimate setting. His development (particularly speech and eating/trying new foods) has improved drastically in the last year and Katie and James have been so attentive with helping him thrive.

We truly feel so grateful to have found them and at the same time very sad knowing this chapter is coming to an end as our little one prepares for school!

A lovely and caring environment

I highly recommend Katie & James. They are amazing with the children and very caring. Their home is lovely and welcoming and my daughter absolutely loves both of them.

Besides all the activities they do at home with the children they regularly take them to the park and to so many other lovely outings. We always receive photos and updates and are very pleased with how much our daughter has developed herself.

Katie and James have always been so supportive since the first settling in days and whenever our daughter needed most. We are very grateful to have found them and reassured that our daughter is well looked after.

Excellent - Safe and Loving Setting

Katie and James have looked after our two daughters over a 7 year period and we could not have asked for more from them. We have always been absolutely blown away with the level of care, love and support they have given. It really is a home from home setting, and both girls settled quickly, formed strong relationships with Katie and James and with the other children, and have loved their time there. The quality of care given to the children when young, the aid in learning and development as they grow, the variety of activities (especially time spent outside exploring all year round), the quality of the food and the safety and warmth the children feel is second to none. We get regular updates and photographs through the day of what they are up-to and can see how much fun they are having.

Both our daughters really love Katie and James and feel part of their family. It is going to be heartbreaking for us and them when our youngest leaves to go to school!
