My daughter has been looked after by Claire since she was 10 months old, in those 8 months the growth and development I have seen in her has been amazing and I have no doubt that's a large part to the care, guidance and tools that Claire has provided her with.
Claire keeps me updated during the day with a detailed description of what she has been up to and some photos to keep me going.
My daughter loves her days with Claire and will often talk about Claire and the other kids on days she's not there, which I think speaks volumes about how happy she is there and how much she enjoys her time there.
I would 100% recommend Claire to anyone looking for childcare, my only regret is that I didn't find Claire sooner so my son could have attended her setting.

Our daughter has been going to Claire for 2 years now. She has always made sure we are up to date with what they’ve done in the day with messages and photos of the activities.
We have noticed how much our daughter gets from Claire with teaching us all of the nursery rhymes she now knows, number and letter recognition.
The care Claire gives to our daughter is excellent with the variety of activities, meals and teaching great skills that are setting her up for school in the years to come.
I would recommend Claire to anyone in the local area looking for a childminder setting!

Looking for a childminder for our 6 month old boy was difficult, but the minute I met Claire I just felt so at ease. I didn’t have any doubts in my mind the 1st time I left him with her and he absolutely loved it, referring to Claire and her family as an extension to our family says it all. She does so much with the kiddies & makes the time they spend with her so special. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Claire is amazing, she has given so much to our little boy who has been with her now for over two years and started as he turned one year. I was definitely very nervous at leaving him and she really helped alleviate that worry by sending updates through the day with photos so I felt connected. She takes them on great days out from the woods to the beach, which are well thought out, planned to suit all the children’s needs. When there are events such as Easter, Halloween and Christmas - she does amazingly special things and takes them to some great days out. When there are learning / behaviour challenges she is great at talking through them to help guide us and then to overcome them. I honestly think our little one is so well mannered and smart because Claire is part of our lives and has given him the best start to his education and I don’t feel guilty going to work!

My little girl has been going to Claire for 2 years now.
I can remember going to meet Claire and just feeling so relaxed around her I knew then she was the childminder for us.
She helped so much with settling our little girl in to the point where drop off was so easy and comfortable. There was the odd times there were tears but Claire always sent us a message to reassure everything was fine.
We get sent pictures throughout the day of what they are doing which is so nice to see and reassurance they are having a lovely time.
I especially love the fact Claire takes them on lots of outings to the woods, parks etc.
I can highly recommend Claire to anyone and will always be my first choice for childcare.

We’ve been with Claire almost 2 years, and she is a huge and extremely loved part of both our and our sons lives. She puts the utmost care into his health, happiness, well being and education.
Claire’s USP, and it’s a really important one to us, is that she takes the children out and about - they pretty much never stay in the house. Whether it’s hunting dinosaurs or bears at the woods, a trip to the beach, an adventure at a farm, or heading to one of the local lovely attractions like newby hall - they are always out, exploring, learning, having fun and getting dirty.
Testament to Claire is that our son has even been known to ask to go to her house on a weekend!!
We feel genuinely lucky to have found Claire, and couldn’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a wonderful childminder.

Our daughter has been cared for by Claire since she was 8months old and it has been a delight to see how she has grown and developed because of the adventures and experiences she has had in Claire’s care. We are very sad that we will no longer receive photos of our daughter having adventures around the area, taking risks and tying new experiences all under the wonderful supervision Claire provides.
Claire always plans a varied week for the children which often includes visits to organised groups, full days out in the woods, library visits and exciting days at home to name but a few.
She (and her family) are very welcoming and there has never been a day our daughter hasn’t been happy to go and usually spends many days calling us ‘claire’ after she has been there.
Claire has been wonderfully flexible with different work arrangements and I would certainly recommend her to everyone, this childminding experience that a child gets, far surpasses one they can get in a nursery!

Claire is a fantastic childminder. She has been looking after my son, Felix, who is 2.5 years, regularly on Saturdays as I have to work. Felix loves going there, which is the best review of all. He talks endlessly about playing with Claire's two children, and the dinosaurs, of course! He has always been up to something, whether it's a trip out to the park, the railway museum, the aquarium or just a session helping wash the car! I would highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for quality childcare in the York area.

Claire provided some adhoc care for my daughter over the holidays. We can't rate her highly enough, Jess had a lovely time, lots of fun and laughter. Never came home clean, messy play extraordinaire is very true indeed! Jess was in her element!
Home cooked foods and she seems to have tricks to feed even the trickiest of eaters. It was nice to see fresh fruit and veg on the menu every week.
I am so sad we have moved house, we are struggling to find another childminder with such a kind, funny, loving attitude in such a wonderful setting. Not everyone embraces the outdoors.
We miss you Claire and if we are up your way we will drop by.
